The Most Professional Service Center Ever I've been servicing my Honda cars at Route 22 Honda for almost 20 years and I don't remember one single time when I was disappointed. These guys have mastered the art of customer service! It got even better a few years ago when they assigned Terrence Persaud as my customer rep. Terrence is a customer service professional of the highest caliber. He is courteous and comes across as someone who knows what he is doing and genuinely cares about the customer. This is the reason why my family keeps buying Honda cars, it is a great brand but in truth, the support I get at Route 22 Honda is what makes me come back for more. More
The worst service experience I've ever had I would leave 0 stars if I could for my service visit. 1.) Since I'm 22, I'm ineligible to rent a loaner car. When I asked if I could be driven to I would leave 0 stars if I could for my service visit. 1.) Since I'm 22, I'm ineligible to rent a loaner car. When I asked if I could be driven to work in their shuttle (in Clark which is 8.8 miles away on Google Maps) the woman said the shuttle could only drive a 6 mile radius. Strike 1. 2.) My service advisor, Robbie Persaud, obviously forgets people have jobs, and called me 3 times in a row during an important conference call at work. I had to embarrassingly answer the phone after it kept vibrating in a room full of people to basically tell the guy if someone doesn't pick up after 2x, it's usually for an important reason. Strike 2. 3.) I'll admit my car is old, and does require some repairs on their list, my estimate was over $6k for 2003 Honda Accord with under 130k miles. One of those recommended repairs was "wiper blades to be changed, and an alignment". I mentioned that I literally replaced my wiper blades that past Saturday, and he said oh it's because they're aftermarket. Are you f****ing kidding me? If anyone knows something, Honda wiper blades are crap and go within 6 months. Strike 3. 4.) When I finally arrive at the service facility after work, and denying most of the repairs, I say 'excuse me' to a man in the service lane to ask how I can get out of the hellhole after I've endured all this xxxx. He puts his finger up at me, and answers an obvious personal call on his cell phone. Strike 4? I have absolutely had it with Honda's xxxxty service, while this dealership may be a special case, I've never had a "good" experience at any Honda dealership. Furthermore, I won't even bother escalating this to Honda Corporate because they don't care about their customers. This is the last and final straw, I will NEVER buy a Honda product again in my life, and shame on Route 22 Honda for the worst service I've ever had. More
I dealt with Robbie Persaud. He was exceptional Robbie thoroughness, personality and careness went above and beyond. He found a rear light problem that he fixed for free without asking. He even connected us with another dealer to repair our other car as it was overheating on a Saturday. I normally do not write reviews, but he was exceptional. His team was also great. He also, found out that one of the dashboard lights (airbag) was covered under warranty and ordered the parts and made another appointment to fix it. I've never seen such great service. More

No part, no call, long wait, & wow! no follow up contact We had a problem with a tire on our 2013 Honda Pilot on a Saturday afternoon. We were told that the tire was not in stock and could not be ordered unt We had a problem with a tire on our 2013 Honda Pilot on a Saturday afternoon. We were told that the tire was not in stock and could not be ordered until Monday; and the tire would be in stock on Tuesday. (Only stock one set of tires at a time?) I was assured by Pat that we would be contacted "as soon as the tire came in, between 10am - 12:30pm". When I called a little after 1pm, after getting shuttled around, Van (?) in Parts told me that the tire "came in at 10" and tried to to transfer me to Pat, the service rep. Not available, on a call ... Finally get a call from Pat who tells me tire came in and was being mounted on rim we left on Saturday - come in and take care of it. I got there a little after 3pm and waited 50 minutes for the tire to be installed. The only time I saw Pat was as we were getting ready to leave. No explanation what took so long, why I was not contacted - nothing. Pay at cashier and we'll bring your truck around. Could not drive car out until it was taken out of bay because it was parked in. This is my SECOND poor experience with tire service at Route 22. More

They were great! I had a serious issue with rust on my car including the fusing of my breaks onto my tires making driving impossible. Terrence Persaud worked with me I had a serious issue with rust on my car including the fusing of my breaks onto my tires making driving impossible. Terrence Persaud worked with me in a very professional and friendly manner. He knew I had time issues and needed my car done. He kept me informed and the work was done quickly and very well. Although there is a Honda service facility located within 10 miles of my home address--I travel 50 miles because the service, and Terrence's service, are spectacular. Highly recommend! More
This is a terrible place to get service. Terrible experience from start to finish. I called a couple of days prior and set an appointment for 8am that morning, I arrived around 750am. A young man approached my car and immediately began writing things down on a card, after I said "Good Morning" to him he replied "good morning" he then continued writing and did not speak another word to me except to ask if I had a particular person I came into see, to which I replied "no", he then left me standing out the car and walked to an office about 5-6 yards away then turned to look at me and beckoned me to come then said 'he will help you" and he walked away. I still don't know who he is or what his job actually is. I then sat with a Victor M. Oliveira who was sick or had allergies he was constantly sniffling in a very loud manner but never once picked up a tissue, Victor asked if I had an appointment then stated he could not find a car registered to me, this is the second time that I have been to this service center, so that was a little mind-boggling; so after getting my vehicle registration he verified my info and updated my contact information, he asked why I was here, i explained the problem, so at 7:56 I went to wait in the waiting room. He then peeks out his door at 9:10am and says jennifer, do you have a minute? I enter his office and he tells me that I need new brakes and that is why the car shakes when braking at high speeds, he told me that the transmission fluid needed to be replaced, to which i replied why wasn't that done when I received the 35,000.00 mile service last year? He asked where I got it done I told him the Honda in Old Bridge, then he changed his story saying it was just flushed probably and that is why the color looked dirty, that the air filter in the engine needed replacement and that it was very dirty (he did not show me the filter) I asked him how much these things would cost he gave me a quote of two hundred and something dollars for the brakes and sixty nine dollars for the air filter, twenty nine for the oil change (which is why i brought the car into service) nineteen ninety nine for the tire rotation. I agreed to everything except the transmission fluid, he gave me the price of the brakes and stated that it take between two to two and a half hours to cut rotars and all this other nonsense. I walked out of his office a little after 9:13am. I waited. So about 10:59am I saw him sitting in his office for about 10 minutes I walked over and asked him the status of my car, his reply "i'm doing it now, its done" I walked out of the office and sat down for another 5 or 6 minutes. Victor then walked up to me while i was still seating and said "here" and turned around and walked away. While I was waiting another woman walked up to the payment counter with her service advisor (atleast he walked her to the counter) who told her her bill was over five hundred dollars and her reply was "for that little bit of stuff" he then hushed her away from the counter saying lets go take a look at this in the office. He just gave me the paperwork and my receipt with no further instruction or anything,so I sat down and looked at everything, the bill was about four hundred thirty three dollars, I looked through their paperwork and they had a flat fee of two and a half hours for the brakes when it took them less than two hours to complete the work, when you sign for them to do the work it does not have the labor printed on it,that doesn't get printed until after its completed. This place is a huge ripoff, the fees are not posted in a clear way for customers to see and they are charging you for time they do not work, how many hundreds of customers are they doing this to? How many millions of dollars in revenue does this generate. I want my money back on top of the fact that my car still shakes when braking at high speeds. I paid the bill. I then got up to go and find my car after looking around for it about two minutes Victor sees me and comes out of his office and says oh the car is going to be in there, they are washing it.
