Arrogant - Rude - Liars - Snake Oil Salesmen If you are looking for a used vehicle and you see the one you want at Rt 21, don't stop! Run to the next lot. These guys are something else. The owner is an arrogant, sexist pig (being nice and censoring myself), They push the 'As Is' thing to a point that should make you nervous to buy from them. They push these worthless extended service contracts that are worth as much as used toilet paper. They charge you $2500 + for an extended service agreement to fix the cars they know are garbage when they put them on their lot. Bottom line. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM Route 21! I promise, you will be sorry. They are misleading. They will lie to you. They will call you names when you try to address issues with a vehicle you purchased from them. Buy at your own risk and know that any good reviews you see of the company are either employees of the company, friends of employees, or the positive review is quickly retracted after the new owner of the vehicle realizes they have been scammed by these liars. Unable to get deposit refunded Looked at a GMC 1500 for sale on the lot. Put deposit down to hold the truck until I could get financing. I was unable to get financing as was promised by Mike that if the sale didn't go through a refund would not be a problem. I drove the hour back to the car lot with my card and asked for my refund at which point Mike was now very rude to me. He ran my card and handed me a receipt for the refund and I left. I waited 10 business days and still no refund on my account. I contacted the bank and they claim that the transaction was cancelled after I left. Now they have to investigate the transaction and the wait time is 120 days now to "hopefully" get my money back. Also the charges on my bank account came from a towing company and not "Route 21" car sales. My bank says the initial charge shows as though I had a car towed by them and that is not true! I work for a well known attorney and they know this so now I have to fight them and it will eventually cost them a xxxx of a lot more in court costs and attorney fees for a $50 charge. How stupid! Buyer beware very shady practices! More
