After dealing with another Jeep Dealer in my area I was happy to see Rt 18 Chrysler had reopened. This is the first time we have gone to this dealership for service. Our red light was on among other things. The car is a 1997 dodge caravan with 104,000 miles. I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty which I absolutely love. My Jeep has low mileage, and I keep up with regular maintenance. This was my first experience with Route 18 Auto and I couldn't have been more pleased. When I called for an appointment for the 60,000 mile service,I spoke with Christine. I wanted a number of items checked along with an oil change and my exhaust looked at since it was making noise and sounded like there was a hole somewhere. When I brought my Jeep in for service, I was pleased to see Richie at the service desk. I remembered him from a former dealership. I dropped my Jeep off the afternoon before my scheduled service date. The following morning Richie called to advise that I needed front brake pads but everything else looked good. The noise I heard from my exhaust was actually a crushed aluminum can that had somehow gotten stuck between the pipe and the sidewall! This was a pleasant surprise since I thought I would be told I needed a new exhaust system. Richie also told me that I didn't need to have my air filter changed since it was clean and appeared new. (I had it replaced during a previous oil change at another mechanic.) I appreciated Richie's honesty. The cost of all maintenance and repairs was reasonable and I will continue to have my Jeep serviced at Route 18 Auto. More
