I went for a oil change service on 12/19/2012, and they push me to change serpentine belt - FAN & ALTE. The sales person said if I don't change it, it might burn my engine so my engine will go without warr push me to change serpentine belt - FAN & ALTE. The sales person said if I don't change it, it might burn my engine so my engine will go without warranty after service. I had to say yes because I didn't want to get in trouble. Here is the detail: The part cost 64.64 which market price is only 45.36. The worst part is the labor cost me over 100 dollar. It takes only 10 mins to finish and charge a ridiculous high price. I did sock but still pay them with no choice. Anyway, I won't be there anymore unless they figure this out. More

Dealer is nasty Stay away !!! sales people lie to make a dealer and service department is horrible, they fire service workers at the drop of the hat , managers rotate like a revolving door. dealership is horrible. I basically came in for work to be done on my vehicle. I had no intentions on purchasing a car. I was greeted at first hand with such warm and happy technicians in the service department. As I approaced the service department I was welcomed by a young lady who was very helpful. Following such great service, it was suggested I see a sales associate to perhaps make some decisions a little more easier. Thus, I was introduced to a smiling man, named Edward Peralta. WoW, indeed, what a wonderful, warm, and caring person he was. Extremely helpful in all ways to assist in making a smooth transaction. He went over and beyond to assist and ensure that my needs were met. He cared about me, the customer, as he stood by every step of the way informing of all deals trying to be done to assist me, and assist in making me happy with what I wanted. I am extremely satisfied with Mr. Edward Peralta. He overall is very professional, knows his material, and is well prepared. I would surely without hesitation recommend Mr. Peralta for all future sales! Overall, most car dealerships are quick to make a deal, and try to earn your business. I must say, im sure all dealerships are the same, however, at nissan in Hasbrouck Heights, everyone there made you feel important. Highly recommended for vehicle purchases. As with me, I had no intention to purchase a vehicle, but with the great help from Edward, he helped me make a decision, I know in my mind, I had to make!!!! Therefore, leaving the facility in a new vehicle, and happy about it as well!!!! Thank you Ed....your a number 1 sales associate for me!!!!!!!!! Thank you again!!! More
i am soo satisfied with the service at Meadowlands Nissan their professionalism and expertise definately exceeded my expectations. From the moment i drove onto the parking lot i was greeted with a smile from their professionalism and expertise definately exceeded my expectations. Going as a young women alone to a dealership was very intimidating but he put me at ease from the very beginning. I went in to simply look aroung never thinking it would be so easy to get my dream car. I walked in at 7:30 pm and Manny and Gloria satyed with me until 11:30!!! yes thats not a typo they stayed that late just so i could drive off with my dream car that right their just shows they really do care about each and every client that walks through their door. No question or concern went unanswered and i was verrryyy pleased wt the whole experience i definately recommend this dealership and Manuel to anyone! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! ;) More
I purchased a car from this dealership and everything was fine at first. The car initially had 25,800ish miles on it. Since everything was fine i decided to take a family trip down to long beach island, th fine at first. The car initially had 25,800ish miles on it. So I had to go to a Nissan dealership near LBI to get the problem checked out. The Nissan place near Long Beach Island said that it was my back to tires that needed to be replaced, the reason being that my tires were "Chopped" from wear and tare. I said that was impossible due to the fact that i barley even drove the car to put that much so called wear and tare. So I called the Meadowlands Nissan, the place I bought the car originally from to see if they can compensate me for the 433.03 that I had to pay for new tires. The only thing this dealer ship was doing was giving me a run around no specific help at all. First i called and spoke to Xavier he told me to call back and speak to some one else.I then spoke to Denise which told me to call Corporate Office. I then called Corporate Office and they told me to Call the Tire Company. I then spoke to another so called manager named David King where he told me to speak to Denise again. With all of this i still have not received any true answers or help. It has been almost 3 weeks now and a ton of phone calls later and still no help from Nissan what so ever. No attendant has helped me resolving the problem. Make sure the next time you want to purchase a car from here that you bring a set of car jacks and tire wrench so that before you leave the lot with your car you can jack the car up take off each tire individually and check it your self, because according to Denise once you leave the lot there is nothing they can do. Even there so called 150 point check on the vehicle isn't valid even though it's supposed to include checking the tires. More
I originally brought my car into Nissan of Meadowlands 04/25/12 because I had a check engine light on. Theresa Rodriguez the Service Technician got into a verbal altercation with my boyfriend. She insulted him telling him that he was not “certified” to make any judgments about the car and that “she could be his mother” in terms of the amount of experience she had working with cars. She told me not to bring him back to Nissan with me. They told me I had no oil because I did not do maintenance on my car. I was blamed for the lack of maintained and they said I had to prove I maintained my car with oil changes. If I was unable to show proof then my warranties could get voided. I only had my car for a year and they were insinuated that I caused whatever engine problems they found. They said there was no oil in my car. Theresa’s exact words was that my car was “bone dry” and that may have been the reason for my check engine light. They told me I needed an oil change, Engine flush, coolant flush and cabin filter. Of course none of this is covered under warranty. I let them perform the oil change. I went and picked up my car on 4/25/12 and noticed that there was a sticker on the bottom of my front passenger side floor. It was a sticker from Valvoline that showed I had performed an oil change. The tech from Nissan Meadowlands must have pulled it off my window and forgot to throw it out. The tech MUST of saw that sticker and knew I did get an oil change performed on my vehicle but failed to inform me of that. With that sticker I was able to go to Valvoline and get my receipt as proof that I took care of my car. I gave them the receipts that showed them I did maintenance. 5/7/12, a week later the light came on. Once again they told me it was due to lack of maintenance but now they told me it was because of the Nissan Dealership I originally purchased it from. Theresa Rodriguez the service adviser at Nissan of Meadowlands told me they refused to fix my car. Meadowlands Nissan told me even though I have two warranties they would not fixed my car. They told me I had to call Nissan of North America and tell them the dealership I purchased the car from was at fault. Theresa claimed Five Towns Nissan was to be blamed. She told me that they did not do an oil change since 2010 and they were to blame. I was told the total amount to fix my car was around $900. This dealership was unhelpful from the beginning and wanted to only perform the work if it was me paying. I want reimbursement for the diagnostic performed and the time I wasted going back and forth trying to show proof I maintained my car. I ended up bringing my car to another Hackensack Nissan and it was fixed. Everything that was under warranty was repaired. They were very nice and helpful unlike meadowlands Nissan. More
Good service and i even bought my car here. Their service takes longer than their advertised "quick" 20 minutes service even with an appointment. Expect to wait at least an hour for an oil change and another takes longer than their advertised "quick" 20 minutes service even with an appointment. Great experience. JR Vega called to remind me about the 1st service. Which I actually forgot about. It was very surprising to find my car looking like the day I took it home. Neil Dimaso was an absolute pleasure to work with...he was very friendly and not pushy at all! He realized I knew what I wanted to look at and did not try to push any other cars on me.
