Bait & switch- worst kind - preying on folks Called- went in to look at jeep- ready to buy- cash in hand- in lot for over 15 minutes- we went in to speak to someone - greeted by owner- shuffled q Called- went in to look at jeep- ready to buy- cash in hand- in lot for over 15 minutes- we went in to speak to someone - greeted by owner- shuffled quickly to Marks desk- we sat- he didn't even acknowledge us- was rifling through papers and had the audacity to holler over our heads to his boss behind us- then and only then did he say " be right with ya folks" Went for test drive where he stated he would keep not say a word- needless to say- he talked non stop about his family- kids- heroin issues in Taunton- etc... Went into bldg- talk price- vehicle listed on auto trader for 7000- offering at least 1000 for trade in- we were told with trade in that was the price- that they listed like that to get people in- told me to read the fine print- the truck we had to trade in wasn't even looked at- good vehicle drives well- wasn't even considered in equation- so after communicating that was unethical listing like that- we got up to leave- mark tells us to give me your price- we had already given him our offer - he states- "you people- it's like throwing darts " when referring to our offer- they turned it down- it's ok- as I said- I had cash in hand- no financing needed- that's what I think they prey upon- folks that Need financing and have beat up cars they are looking to trade in- Another plot- his partner sales guy- walks by us an says- if they don't buy- I've got someone who will take it today- However-....the vehicle is STILL for sale and NOW the price has been CHANGED to what the REAL asking price is!!! I bought my jeep - better year- better mileage/ better price through Village auto in Attleboro on pleasant street- reliable over 18 years same spot- servicing etc... I Can't tolerate This Used Car salesman snake oil behaviors!!!!!!!!!! More
Please do NOT go to this dealership. they scammed my son out of so much money. He's just a kid, charged him 8 thousand more than the car was worth. took them five days to get the car registered. this man is out of so much money. He's just a kid, charged him 8 thousand more than the car was worth. took them five days to get the car registered. this man is con artist and I should have listened to the other car dealers on that street and to the insurance agencies that said avoid him. I will spend every free second i have making sure no one goes to this guy. He's such the stereo typical bottom of the barrell used car dealership. If i can stop one person from going there I have done my job. 6 thousand in finance fees he forgot to mention until after he had my deposit cashed. It was not on the original form but he never mentioned it to myself or my son. I never saw it. he skipped over it. They didnt even fill the tank. they gave him his "personal" vehicle. bs..its registered to the company and it cost my son 80 in gas for two days. Nothing I am saying here is a lie or slanderous. it's the truth. My child was ripped off and so was I. Lied to and manipulated. Never mentioned the fees. two problems with the title that took four extra days to get the car registered. It was an awful experience, I am currently pursuing a law suit to get my sons money back and for fraud. More
I have read all the negative comments and laughed. I found a GREAT deal and put down a deposit. When I went to pay for the car, they tried to get me to use there own financing when I had my own...I alm found a GREAT deal and put down a deposit. When I went to pay for the car, they tried to get me to use there own financing when I had my own...I almost had to walk out on the sale to get them to take my money? Bought the car with some "conditions" that would need to be fixed as stated on P&S Agreement....of course nothing was done at time of picking up car...took it anyways and was told they would get back to me when stuff came in. After about 2 months of waiting for the "conditions" to be taken care of I finally threatened to write a letter to the CREDIT UNION the car I bought was owned by, which actually is the CREDIT UNION that sells cars through this stealership....that got things done quite quickly. I believe these guys went out of business......figures. More

I sent the the bill still did not pay...called an a battery I had to replace and still waiting for the $70 they promised which was over 3 months ago. I sent the the bill still did not pay...called and left several messages and they never called back I even emailed them. Spoke to Chip and I heard him on the other end saying "what does she want now? she calls every 5 minutes". which was not true. Now the phone has been disconnected and there is nomore website. Intially thought my sales rep was knowledgeable. He went through the inventory, telling us that the price on the car we wanted was about $13,000 and based on previous negotiations he thought we could agree through the inventory, telling us that the price on the car we wanted was about $13,000 and based on previous negotiations he thought we could agree on about $11,500. While we looked at the CarFax he came in with a sad expression and told us it was $16,000. Not sure how this could have happened-wasted an hour of our time as well as his. More
Beware the bait and switch! They advertise one price online to lure you in and then add on thousands to the listed price on the car once you are there. All the cars we test drove (3) were broken in online to lure you in and then add on thousands to the listed price on the car once you are there. All the cars we test drove (3) were broken in one way or another. The salesman couldn't even get out of the back seat of the car. If you want to know what this dealership is all about, take a look inside the building. THe salesmen don't have phones or computers. It looks like a store front. Don't walk, run from this dealership!!! More
I have had a very poor experience with Route 138 Auto Mall. after I came to rt 138 auto-mall to pay and pick up my new car I was told by the Sales Rep Joan that he didn't have access to the safe but Mall. after I came to rt 138 auto-mall to pay and pick up my new car I was told by the Sales Rep Joan that he didn't have access to the safe but promised he would send the spare key and the title the first thing on Monday morning. I received the title but the spare key wasn't included. After calling in he told me that they key was missing and that he never promised to send the key? He referred me to Carl, the Sales Manager, with any further questions. after repeated call I got Carl on the line who promised that he would take this very serious, apologized for the poor experience and repeatedly stated that he would take bold action to get me a my spare key and give me the services I could expect from route 138 auto mall and avoid this from happening again. I didn't hear back from Carl, and despite multiple requests to call me back nothing ever happened. When I finally got him on the line to follow up he responded very rude, basically telling me that there was no spare key and he was not going to help me resolve this problem. He seems to have forgotten all his previous promises and was very rude. Despite the earlier promise of both the sales man and the sales manager to get me the key The key was never promised and made clear that he was not going to do anything to get my the key. When I informed him that I would share my customer experience online he lost his temper started to swear at me and told me to post whatever I wanted telling me I was behaving like a sad 15 year old twitter kid ( I am 32 year old and, unlike Carl have a job where I take my customers serious) long story short, never trust a second hand car sales man on his word (I now feel pretty Naive for trusting a second hand car salesman on his word in the first place.) One final note - I give them one final opportunity to get things straightened out prior to posting this and I got the telling response from one of their sales men: Email response route 138: You bought a used car. It comes with one key. Reach into your pocket and buy another a key. If you wanted two keys. Spend the extra $20,000 and buy a new Volvo. More
Let me start off by saying that dealing with 138 Automall is probably the worse experience I've had buying just about anything. Especially a vehicle. I can't speak for the whole company but the salesman I is probably the worse experience I've had buying just about anything. Especially a vehicle. I can't speak for the whole company but the salesman I dealt with had little to no knowledge of the car I was looking to get (I know this because I knew the vehicle very well). He never returned my calls, if he told you he would get back to you in about 5 mins expect a phone call in no less than 2 hours with not so promising news. He ducked and dodged me for days until I got a hold of a manager after calling for 4 days straight and he apologized for not following up in a timely manner and would see to it I walked out a happy customer with the car I wanted at a reasonable price. He kept his word and now it was up to me to get my insurance squared away. This was on a Fri. come Mon. I call and ask for this salesman again.. and to my delight I'm told I'll be called back. When he eventually does I'm THEN told the car Isn't ready yet... despite the fact I've paid for it and have completed my insurance and now waiting on them after making two trips their (total of 100 miles, 50 miles back and forth each time) and I still haven't even TEST DRIVEN the car. The things I was put through to get this are just too much to list. I can only say if you expect someone who will followup with you and make sure you're satisfied with both cust service and your vehicle this isn't the place. They have some great deals but their (used) cars lack any type of selling representation and they have xxxxxxx on the floor selling their vehicles. More
I was quite happy with my experience there, very friendly and helpful. They helped me with a 300 Limited that I bought that was priced 6000 less than other dealers!! I can't understand why people friendly and helpful. They helped me with a 300 Limited that I bought that was priced 6000 less than other dealers!!
