purchased a "certified" used vehicle from them with a 90 day bumper-to-bumper warranty. Brought in the van with a list of issues to be repaired including a check engine light. The service department could day bumper-to-bumper warranty. Brought in the van with a list of issues to be repaired including a check engine light. The service department could not or would not repair any of the items on the list and charged us $450 to run diagnostics on the check engine light for an EVAP code that they did not repair. We took the vehicle to Charlie's Dodge the following day where all of the issues including the EVAP engine issue (Purge Valve) were repaired under the certified used vehicle warranty. For those of you using their service department you will need to register a case in Perrysburg Municipal Court for Small Claims to get a refund. More
The sales process went well, all of the salesmen I dealt with were very friendly. The finance manager was very friendly as well, aside from having to wait at the dealership for a couple of hours just to get with were very friendly. The finance manager was very friendly as well, aside from having to wait at the dealership for a couple of hours just to get paperwork signed, when I was told that they had everything they needed and that they would be ready for me. What ruined the good review was dealing with service. I'm not in the automotive service industry, but I understand the issues of part shortages, backorders, etc... I booked my appointment for warranty work over a month out with that understanding. The warranty work being for a bunch of minor things including the LED strip on the bottom of my headlight not working on one side. Unfortunately, the service department fell short. They held my vehicle for days upon days. I tried calling many times over a couple of weeks looking for an update or an answer and nobody could be bothered to call back. They never touched the vehicle, ended up having to drive to the dealership and be face to face in front of the advisor to get any word. As the service advisor puts it, "we got busy." Got my key back and left. Dealership isn't what it used to be. They've lost a handful of very good employees in the past couple of years, and it just isn't the Rouen that it used to be. More
I'm not sure if this is supposed to be meant for the dealership more than the service center but my review is about the service after the sale. It is non-existent. The salesman has followed up a couple dealership more than the service center but my review is about the service after the sale. It is non-existent. The salesman has followed up a couple times but when you really need service you can't get it. Express Lane hours were - and probably still are published - but not followed. I got there at 4:02 once for an oil change and they said no even though the hours were until 4:30. One of the women is rude, not just to me but others, which I heard. You would think during times of less driving and less customers and income, they would want to accommodate but they keep making it more difficult with, now, closing the Express Lane to drive up and needing "an appointment" just like all other service. Then, you'll no doubt have to wait an hour like I did recently when my electronics were bad and they gave me no results because the web site to verify updates was down. Don't buy a vehicle unless you have someone else to provide service on it. More
