I want to share my car shopping experience purchasing a new Volt at Rotolo Chevrolet. As many know, this car is being produced in limited numbers and sold only in certain regions for the 2011 model year. new Volt at Rotolo Chevrolet. As many know, this car is being produced in limited numbers and sold only in certain regions for the 2011 model year. I was unable to find a Volt in my home state of Texas and when I called Rotolo in Fontana California they had a car which they held for me. The next day I flew to the local airport in California and they picked me up. Because of the limited availability and high demand, many dealers are marking up this vehicle from $5000 to $20,000 over sticker! Roloto sold at MSRP and were great to deal with. As I was driving my new car home to Texas, I was thinking how an unscrupulous dealer or sales person may have taken advantage of my situation and adjusted the price or did something bad at the last moment, knowing that I didn't have the option of just walking out. I was very glad that Rotolo treated me well. I want to also mention Thelma Marshall and Denise Krempa were both helpful by teaching me some of the finer aspects of operating this vehicle, including setting up On Star, syncing my iPhone to the car's bluetooth, and going over the charging procedure with me. I have purchased maybe 20+ new cars in my life and these guys were the best I have dealt with! All were very friendly, no stress sale, no upselllling on products i do not need like lojack, fabric guard etc guys were the best I have dealt with! They also did NOT charge over sticker on a new Chevy Volt as most dealers in L.A. are doing. Will be back next year for my ZR1! More
I was researching vehicles on the internet when Armando had contacted me I was looking for something to having towing capacity for my boat but was not sure how much it weighed so Armando asked what model had contacted me I was looking for something to having towing capacity for my boat but was not sure how much it weighed so Armando asked what model it was and he found out the weight for me to make sure I would have enough towing power. I thought that was pretty nice. I had givin him my phone number and did not make it in for a couple of weeks he had called and checked in with me a couple times but never called to much to annoy me. Then when I made it in to the dealership he was not pushy at all and I only dealt with him until the very end signing the contracts he was a pleasure to deal with and the ultimate reason why I bought my car there. We purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze. We got the price from Darryl by email and it was better than all the other dealers we contacted. We requested the "out the door" price by email so we would know how much t Darryl by email and it was better than all the other dealers we contacted. We requested the "out the door" price by email so we would know how much the sales tax, doc fees and DMV fees would be. Darryl was so nice to work with and didn't pressure us with any other sales pitch. We would highly recommend Darryl and Rotolo Chevrolet. I drove over a hundred miles to make a purchase from this dealer because he had the model I wanted. I do not believe I got a super deal on the purchase price; however, I can't say enough about how pleased I dealer because he had the model I wanted. I took the vehicle to the local dealer nine times with the same problem. I finally made an appointment with Rotolo. When I got there they got the vehicle right in and had the problem fixed in less time than they said it would take. It has been the same everytime I have gone to them for service. When I talked with others in the service waiting area their experience is much the same as mine as been. More
