I purchased my 2012 Volt from Darryl back in August of this year, he took such great care of me that I was able to recommend my niece Samantha Vega to Darryl and Lucy which Lucy did a Fantastic jiob at as this year, he took such great care of me that I was able to recommend my niece Samantha Vega to Darryl and Lucy which Lucy did a Fantastic jiob at assisting my niece. Later that same day but in the evening of this past Sunday we brought our son Solomon who is turning 21 in Oct iof this year in to see Darryl who went above and beyond to make Solomon's FIRST CAR BUYING experience a very memorable one! The sales people were fine - typical sales people. Polite, somewhat knowledgable and helpful - my issue was with the sales manager on duty. OMG I have not been more insulted in my life. As we all know - Volts ain't selling. I made the offer so we could come up to invoice and all walk away happy. The SM brings out some sheet of paper and tries to tell me that their invoice is $42056.76, and that the MSRP is $42506. I call BS on that - basically because he included the delivery charge in the invoice price twice. He asks me if I'm calling him a liar. Thats the first place he goes? Really? After I explained why MSRP could not be $42500 and the invoice $42056.76. He asked me where I got my invoice price from - I told him AAA, Edmunds and CR. He then says: "Are they gonna sell you a car?" He does not say their numbers are wrong. What a rude guy. I never dealt with a sales manager who was such an in your face a-hole in my life. I was about to respond to that comment and decided to just walk out. He starts off taking the negotiation personal - who does that? I'm buying a car - its not personal. And then he doubles down on stupid by challenging me for actually doing some research by somehow implying that because they are not selling cars that their information is wrong. Maybe I was the one guy who had a bad experience here - but when my WIFE told me we were 100% right for leaving - that should tell us something. My wife has no problem being critical with me if she thinks I'm doing something wrong . . . More
