Have a 2019 Chevy Malibu with 52k miles. The notorious and well known brake vacuum pump fails and it run off the exhaust camshaft. The service bulletin from GM themselves states this is a we The notorious and well known brake vacuum pump fails and it run off the exhaust camshaft. The service bulletin from GM themselves states this is a well known problem. Service tried to tell me the exhaust camshaft was completely seized because of low oil. That was a flat out lie, the car was running when we dropped it off, Robert in service tried to convince me for 5 minutes a car could run with a seized camshaft, after telling him I was a automotive tech for over 10 years and a car running with a completely seized camshaft is like pigs flying he admitted he made that part up, he then changed his story to sludge causing the issue and they wanted oil change records. After providing them and getting an email that the warranty work was approved I got another email 15 minutes later that it was on hold and not approved. I have the email saying it was not approved and I'll have to sue them now to get it fixed. I relish the day we go to court and you try to explain how is goes from approved and will be done in 2 days to never mind, its not come pick up your car. Avoid this place like the plague. More
Don’t take anything in to get fixed. They installed a radio for which they said was my problem. It was suggested by Sirius XM to take it to them because it’s a manufacturer installed rad They installed a radio for which they said was my problem. Took it back and 2 months later still no truck. A radio! No one returns calls. Just get a text of an excuse. Filed a complaint with BAR! Hope you all do the same! More
I bought my truck July 9th, And 5 days later I opened the hood and I noticed the oil cap was missing.
