We expressed our intention to purchase a car posted here and they told us that they would sell it to us in person, but would not hold the car while we were coming 3 hours to get it in Roseville. We said we and they told us that they would sell it to us in person, but would not hold the car while we were coming 3 hours to get it in Roseville. We said we were coming and made the long trip immediately, and when we got there Matthew Salangsang (the salesperson who we talked to on the phone) told us that the car was still there and he would go get it. An hour later, we were still waiting. Another employee went to look for him or the car but neither him nor our car were anywhere to be found in their lots. We were told that managers at this dealer often drive the cars home or use them for personal use so someone has likely gone off with it. The car was never found even though they knew they hadn’t sold it. They knew neither where their employees were, nor their cars. We were VERY disappointed and made the 3-4 hour trip back home. We are very busy people who had to carve 8 hours of our time out for this treatment. We have yet to receive any kind of apology from the dealer. Do not go to this dealer. More
Considering i just bought a 60+ thousand dollar vehicle i think the experience was not that great. As recurring customer (the 4runner being the second new toyota i have bought from the Roseville toyota) think the experience was not that great. As recurring customer (the 4runner being the second new toyota i have bought from the Roseville toyota) i was expecting more. The finance department also screwed my financing which was supposed to go through my bank and pawned it off to completely different credit union. Which i am having to fix on my own as apparently roseville toyota is in charge of my financial decisions. As i explained at the dealership i am also looking to buy a 2022 tundra once released, but i am going to go with different dealership due to our experience with purchasing the 4runner. I was not expecting this type of stuff from a major dealer, and based on this experience i would not recommend them. More
Unfortunately, I wish I had better things to say about this dealership. The best thing about it is the one Service Advisor who has been the kindest to me. It's not his fault that his technicians do poor w this dealership. The best thing about it is the one Service Advisor who has been the kindest to me. It's not his fault that his technicians do poor work. All i know is that every single time I have taken my car into this dealership, I have gotten it back in worse condition than when I brought it in. Not just once either... Every single time, and i really do hate to say this because some of their employees, Steve Wenham, work extremely hard, going up and above for every person who he comes across. But not their technicians. They like to say that they do a full 17 point inspection every time... But it's a lie. They simply glance over the car and will point out only the obvious, rather than taking the time to actually DO their job. Which is incredibly disappointing. Not to mention its destroying my only means of transportation to and from work, which i HAVE to have in order to LITERALLY survive. So that's my take on this dealership. Thats the 100% truth. Might be harsh, but at least I'm honest. More
Everytime we go in to have our regular service done, Toyota seems to nickel-and-dime us. The past couple of visits, we were told repairs needed to be done totaling $4,260. We were either able to repair Toyota seems to nickel-and-dime us. The past couple of visits, we were told repairs needed to be done totaling $4,260. We were either able to repair things ourselves or take the car to a local small auto business. Total cost of labor and parts...$1,209. HUGE markups at Roseville Toyota. Guess they need helping paying for their fancy buildings and coffee shop. Not by us though. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SMALL AUTO BUSINESSES 👍 More
Gleb was top notch in service and in trying to get the price to where we could afford it, so his performance is 5-star. However I felt the sales management pushed back hard and would not deviate from the price to where we could afford it, so his performance is 5-star. However I felt the sales management pushed back hard and would not deviate from the MSRP which in past experiences buying cars is unheard of. The only discount I got on the price of the car was Toyota's manufacturer discount but nothing on the dealer local level.. They did discount the add-on's such as the service agreements, extended warranty, Express tracker, Lo-Jack, Cilajet and Llumar paint protection so I was happy with that. Jeremy in Finance helped us out greatly with the price of the service and warranty agreements so we give him 5-star rating for his efforts. We Love our new Camry SE! More

a minute agoI have called the sales manager (named a minute ago I have called the sales manager (named Rubio) to inquire about the availability of a certain vehicle 4 times today. Since i was driving a minute ago I have called the sales manager (named Rubio) to inquire about the availability of a certain vehicle 4 times today. Since i was driving from san jose to roseville (3 hours drive), i wanted to make sure the vehicle was in stock. I called him once before i left and called him again 30 minutes before my arrival. Both times, he said the car is ready and waiting for me. Once i got there at 7pm, he was nowhere to be found. The other associates told me he ran off and that there was no car matching my preference. This is plainly irresponsible and inconsiderate of him. Basically i went there for nothing and wasted 5-6 hours on the road. Dont trust these sales people. They will tell you lies upon lies to get you to come in to see their inventory. More
Avoid this dealership at all costs!!Called to check Avoid this dealership at all costs!! Called to check stock on a used car, and Rubio tells me the car is about to be shipped away and price will not be an issue if I came in that day as they need to move it. I show up and end up with Tyson, who says price isn’t moving anywhere and he doesn’t care what Rubio said. No movement on price and then they low ball my mint condition trade in. Also, refused to talk numbers until running credit which is a ding on the report if you don’t go though with the deal. Colin, the sales manager comes in and also says they aren’t moving on the price, but says he’ll make it worth it by overpaying my trade by about 5K$. We both knew it wasn’t worth that, but I said if we wants to pay that much, thats fine. Then they come back and expect me to not see that the trade in price has only moved up 2K$, not the 10K$ as promised by Colin. He then proceeds to talk down to me, saying my car isn’t worth that much. I’m not the one who wanted 30K$ for my trade! So bait and switch on the price of the car to get me in there and then lying about the trade in hoping I wouldn’t notice. All throughout this negotiation, unlike any other car deal I have worked they are not writing anything down or breaking down fees. I have to write it myself, they refuse to print anything out to disclose OTD pricing. Once I finally get a fee breakdown, Colin lies to me again by saying “tracker” is a DMV fee and cannot be dropped. I called him out on it and he stuck to it. I knew I could get it removed in finance so I moved on. They charge 800$ for LoJack and cannot provide proof they actually installed it on the car, so thats another baked in profit center for them that they lie about. Here is the worst part. We had a written agreement to not cash the check for a week while funds are transferred. What do they do? Cash the check and overdraw my account by over 10K$. Yet again, this dealership is incapable of doing business like any other reputable dealer. Finance was useless. They kept trying to sell my loan to their bank at stupid rates, when I had a significant downpayment and perfect credit. This of course meant I had to travel all the way back from Elk Grove a few days later to re-sign contracts because they didn’t know how to write up the loan with Capital One, like they are some weird bank that doesn’t finance cars daily. A few days later after they overdrew my account, I get a call from them asking for a new check. I had already offered them a new check when I had went back in to re-sign contracts but the Finance manager said it wouldn’t be needed. The salesman, Tyson wanted me to drive 40 miles each way and provide a cashiers check because of their error. I promptly said no and called one of their other finance managers. He agreed to send someone from finance to my house to pick up a new check. I had to put a stop payment on the original check so they don’t try and cash the check twice. They say they will cover any bank fess, but the post sale support here has been so abysmal, I cannot believe anything these people have to say. In summary, this is a bait and switch dealer that lies and deceives their customers and doesn’t know how to efficiently handle a car transaction. If you shop here, double and triple check your paperwork. I was talked down to and treated like I was some kid with poor credit. I don’t know if they are used to people who are in dire need of a vehicle and will take any thing they have to offer. I was a real buyer with real cash and good credit and they didn’t know how to handle someone like me. The issues I have raised covers only about 50% of the xx I dealt with. I waited until my contract closed be Regarding the car I bought from them that had “no maintenance due” was overdue for an oil change and brake fluid. A 200$ job I completed after purchasing the car. Along with an empty fuel tank. More
