Friendly staff, clean showroom and restrooms, we were offered refreshments at arrival and during visits. Michael Nelson and toyota keep sending me unwanted emails with no way to unsubscribe. Great service department. They provided excellent service and gave me a VERY realistic estimate on how long it would take to service my car. They provided excellent service and gave me a VERY realistic estimate on how long it would take to service my car. More
I was a cash buyer and still spent 6+ hours at this dealership. During that time, We saw a lot of employees standing around laughing and talking with each other while customers waited in the lobby. The dealership. During that time, We saw a lot of employees standing around laughing and talking with each other while customers waited in the lobby. They have ZERO respect for customers’ time. Every time we asked a question it took an exceptionally long amount of time for someone to return with an answer. I was a repeat buyer at the Roseville Toyota dealership..I’ll never buy another car at that dealership! More
This dealer advertises a price that does not include its $1,000+ mandatory add-on for Lo-Jack. We placed a deposit on a used car that was not ready to test drive. After 3 more visits over the next 3 days to $1,000+ mandatory add-on for Lo-Jack. We placed a deposit on a used car that was not ready to test drive. After 3 more visits over the next 3 days to the dealership to complete the deal we spent over 12 hours sitting at the dealership with long periods of no activity. Reasons given were: can’t find the car, can’t find the paperwork, car not prepped and ready for test drive.. we had an 11:00 am appointment to drive the car and at 2:30 the car showed up dirty inside and out. We had to sit for another hour for the car to be cleaned. This was after a 3.5 hour drive to get there in time for the appointment. Our negotiations were initiated by one sales person and handed off to his manager who had no idea what the conversation had been to that point. The sales team was disorganized and inefficient. The finance team was OK. The sales manager made inappropriate comments about his subordinate and about how our long periods of wasted time were worth it because we were getting a great deal. Bottom line is that this dealership is off of our list of future dealer options. By far the most frustrating car buying experience in 50 years of purchasing cars. More

TL;DR DO NOT BUY A NEW CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP WITHOUT LOOKING OVER IT METICULOUSLY FOR DAMAGE, SCRATCHES, AND OVERSPRAY The good: 1. Found a vehicle online priced under MSRP 2. Friendly sales staff. LOOKING OVER IT METICULOUSLY FOR DAMAGE, SCRATCHES, AND OVERSPRAY The good: 1. Found a vehicle online priced under MSRP 2. Friendly sales staff. I didn’t feel extremely pressured from them, but it may also be because I put down half in cash and came in with my own pre-approved financing The bad: 1. On my second visit to come buy the car, I waited 3 hours to be seen. I was told there wasn’t enough finance staff to go through the paperwork even though I had finished my piece after less than 20 minutes. 2. They will push their own financing which has a higher APR. Shop ahead of time and pre-qualify for other rates. Capital One and Chase offered over 1% lower. 3. After finally getting access to a finance manager around 10PM, I was forced to sit through a sales pitch about warranties… I told Ed it was 10PM and I just waited 3 hours to be seen. I told him I straight up didn’t want one, but he responded, “I have to go through this line by line.” Told him it’s 10PM and I wanted to get home to sleep. He said, “It’s my job. I have to.” The horrendous: 1. The 2024 car I purchased was BRAND NEW with less than 40 miles on it. There were scratches on the spoiler - the hand in the photo is that of my salesmen the night I bought the car. Noticing it after car was moved under the bright lights, I said I’m not buying a car with scratches. But again, wanting to sleep, I made an agreement with him that I would come back to have it addressed. 2. Having purchased a brand new car, I decided to get ceramic coating, tints, and PPF done by a third party. Imagine my surprise when they told me they had to refuse to service the car due to scratches on the windows and an overspray on the car that wouldn’t allow them to guarantee their work. They recommended I go back to dealership to address the issues with the new car. I am currently awaiting resolution with the dealership. I’ll provide an update to this review based on solution provided. 3 week update: after FOUR trips to this dealership, they have replaced the rear driver and passenger windows that had gashes. The front two windows and spoiler still have scratches they attempted to polish over, along with overspray on the roof. They paid for one tank of gas (yippee- I’ve wasted over 6 hours driving over the course of the four trips) and provided an interior/exterior detail. Last update: five trips to the dealership and over 15 hours wasted in attempts to work with the staff - unwilling to address the issues with the car and they offered to try and remove the overspray, “but can’t guarantee it.” Resorting to taking other steps to resolve but the lesson here is they are unwilling to stand by their brand new vehicles. They promised me they would fix a scratch on the brand new car I bought before we were done. They then hustled me out the door, preoccupied me with all the bells and whistles of the car and never took care of the scratch. Now I'm home and have to figure out how to handle this. It's not a big scratch but they said they would take care of it and didn't, or communicate how they would. The salesperson, Joe, was good though. He knows his cars and answered all questions. Seems like a nice guy. More
