Chevy Cruze Crank Shaft Seal, Engine Vacuum Whistle My 2015 Chevy Cruze 1.4L started making an intermittent whistling/bird chirping sound while engine idling. Called John L Sullivan for appointment. Wit My 2015 Chevy Cruze 1.4L started making an intermittent whistling/bird chirping sound while engine idling. Called John L Sullivan for appointment. Within only minutes on the phone, a next day appointment was scheduled. A well staffed and organized service center was encountered upon arrival, where a team worked to receive my vehicle. The service adviser Tom Smith was familiar with a potential issue that exhibits whistling or bird chirping sounds with the engine idling. This knowledge resulted in quick and accurate diagnosis, a loaner car was provided, and my car was repaired and ready for pick up the following day. After the crankshaft seal was replaced, the whistling/bird chirping sound is gone. More

Lies and thieves Eric the guy who helped me first started the day off by saying Iv already used 2 of my oil changes and I said no Iv only used one. He flips his monitor around to point see one and 2 I said no look there is only 2 miles difference between the Service and one 1 day apart so he looks again and was like ya your right like I know but the way he was trying to come off was to make me look dumb. Then got that semi resolved and I was leaving and I said ok call me when the car is completely done. I get a car about 2 hours later saying car is ready for pick up so I head there and when I got there the paper work wasn’t done my truck wasn’t even washed yet and I asked for them to do the inside windows to be cleaned and they didn’t. So I had to wait another 20 minutes for everything to be done and when I confronted Eric say I told you to tell me when it’s all done he said no you didn’t and when I said I did and you said the car was done he said no it’s almost done so he kept lying to me like I was some dumb kid. I would love to take my warranty and service to another dealership this is the second bad experience Iv had at john l which is bad cause Iv only been there twice and both were very poor service. Don’t waste your time there More

Confusing It was confusing talking to too many people at the delearship about buying the car. I hadn't planned on the process taking over 3 hours, even when I It was confusing talking to too many people at the delearship about buying the car. I hadn't planned on the process taking over 3 hours, even when I explained I had another commitment to attend to. I told the sales manager what I did not want included in the purchase, and those items were still put in anyway into the contract. So I had to go over all of that with the finance manager, taking more unnecessary time. I was confused about the pricing of these extras because of varying statements from multiple people. I still have yet to get an owner's manual. I went back into the delearship and asked the asst. sales manager for one and he gave me a brochure, not a user's manual, for the car, which I didn't notice until I got home. I had to ask for a 2nd key fob for the car, which should have been offered to me at the time of purchase. When I spend $80,000 for a vehichle, I expect better customer service than this. More

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing previous visit and I communicated my disappointment with Penny. She reviewed my details and agreed with my assessment and offered a free oil change on my next service (which I recently utilized). I wanted to say thank you in person to Penny however she was away enjoying some vacation time in Idaho.
