Incompetence Brought my truck in due to a stabilitrak issue. I have had them before with my truck but this time, it was running a lot rougher. After a day and $210.00, it was determined that I had a lifter issue and would cost $3000.00 to fix. I decided on not fixing it, but when I took my truck, it was running twice as rough, and the oil dip stick was not put back in correctly, and was flopping back and forth, because they pulled the valve cover. I replaced a coil pack to my #4 plug, that was missing, and that fixed the problem. Decided that after 250K miles, I purchased another new vehicle, but not at John L. Sullivan. More

Good buying experience. Good buying experience although I did have a misunderstanding about the year of the vehicle when it was built. When I arrived at the office and started doing the paperwork I was told there that the vehicle was a 2015 when I looked at the manufacturer sticker on the vehicle door it stated 6 / 2014. Also when I took the vehicle home there was vibration coming from the tires and a thumping noise at low speeds when driving. I Took the vehicle back to the dealership lot they said that they would take care of the problems. Didn't quite understand it at all about when the vehicle was supposedly built. Other than that everything was great. More

When I arrived they did not have the tires in stock (they new I needed I called and made an appointment for tires and a lube and oil on my Silverado. When I arrived they did not have the tires in stock (they new I needed tires when I made the appt) and said it would take a day to get them. The second day when I went back, they had ordered the wrong tires. I had to leave my truck overnight and pick it up the next day. I cannot believe that you did not have tires in stock when I arrived for my appointment. I ended up making three trips. The first sales advisor was terrible, but the second was fine. More

Refused to provide an alignment report. At the time of my last oil change at Placerville GMC, I was informed that my tires were wearing unevenly and needed immediate attention. The tech at t At the time of my last oil change at Placerville GMC, I was informed that my tires were wearing unevenly and needed immediate attention. The tech at the shop informed me that the truck was never aligned after the installation of an aftermarket leveling kit at Roseville J.L. Sullivan. I called the service manager to nnform him of the issue. I asked for an alignment report and a part number of the leveling kit they installed. I was told that it was sub contracted to Rich’s Tire Barn and that I would get the alignment report and a part number of the leveling kit for my records. After waiting two days I called back and was told they don’t have record of the report and they are not sure what part was installed. I was also told that my tires were worn because of my driving habits and they would do nothing about the issue. I still don’t have a part number and worn tires at the start of winter. Looks like I got worked on this deal. I will not be returning to this dealership or service center for anything inn the future More
