LOUSY and very expensive ! ! I had an appt at 7:30 am my car was ready Aat 4:45 pm for a change battery and air filter change ! The cost $400 a new vehicle under warranty but the battery 1 yr old but I Had 35,000 miles (out of luck), engine light on ! Cost me @00 for the battery and another 200 for the air filter change ! Wow ! and and top a long wait until 4:45 pm I don't think I am going to the service dept again ! More

Hybrid Charge Port not covered by Hybrid Warranty First of all, JLS Service dept did a nice job diagnosing and completing the repair. That’s worth two stars in this experience. The majority of the experience was who paid for the repair. I was led to believe that this issue (car not charging) was ok to bring in to the dealer because it’s obviously either part of the hybrid warranty or drivetrain warranty. After the car was taken apart and mid-repair, GM tried to tell the dealer that the hybrid system charge port is not covered by the “hybrid system” warranty or the drivetrain warranty. JLS Service charges $185 diagnosis fee (in case the repair is not covered by warranty), which I agreed to on the premise that this issue is absolutely related to my hybrid system and that’s under warranty. So, when GM said it’s not covered, I’m now on the hook for $185 whether I get the car repaired by them or not. When the warranty claim was rejected, my “service advisor” switched modes from helper to salesman. Now the goal was to keep me from canceling the repair and negotiate a price that would tempt me to proceed. They flexed on price but refused to dispute the warranty issue any further. I ended up paying about half the initially quoted ~$800 repair quote. Classic salesmanship. JLS should have represented me in disputing the warranty decision. It’s absurd that the hybrid system charge port is not part of the hybrid system. Do non-hybrid cars have charge ports? At the very least, they should have offered to waive the diagnosis fee and reassemble my car for free so I can fairly take it to another repair shop to see if I can find a lower price. The bloated quote and half off scam is not a fair alternative. Everyone knows dealers overcharge for repairs. The service department needs to try to “sell”less and “service” more. They’ve broken my trust. More
Buying a car should not take all day! We arrived at 8:35 5 min late for our appointment. We didnt leave till after 4! There really is no excuse to take that long in making a deal and driving away. After the finance part, our car should have been ready to drive away but no! we had to wait even longer. Our car had some paint issues that made us have to come back twice to correct that. When we did finally pick up the car after the paint work was done no one even came to talk to us to make sure we were happy with the results. We did get a follow up call from the salesman while our car was in the shop to see how we liked the car. I am not sure if he was having a bad day but his tone was so disinterested I felt the call was pointless. If you are going to call your customers back at least have some interest and excitement in your voice. Again another waste of our time. I am disappointed with the customer service we have gotten from this dealership. More
