Sullivan went out of their way to make sure I had an open, honest and transparent car buying experience. LaPrincess made sure to help me get all the information she could before I drove 2 hours to the dealership so that I could make an informed decision before my drive and while I was there she was knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. While negotiating the final details she did not try to hide anything or add in extra fees, she and her manager were transparent about the costs and honest in their negotiations. My finance person Cory was also incredible. He informed me of additional options but did not try to sell me things that I did not want. He made the paperwork process easy and clean. These guys were great. They were all super helpful and nice even though I was buying a car as they closed at 10pm. After I got the car home some extra costs came up with my trade-in resulting from VW not disclosing additional fees for trading my car in at a different dealer. Cory in finance went out of his way to make sure that I did not get stuck with those fees and found a creative solution to solve the problem. Incredible service. Thank you John L Sullivan. More

On the morning of my schedule appointment I received a call from Amanda at John Sullivan Chevrolet to inform you that you can’t bring your car into service as we don’t service Honda’s here and your warranty is not valid here. So they will tell you what ever they want to get the sell then sell you a crap car and warranty. Don’t buy a car from them More

JLS always does a great job I'm driving a Chevy BoltEV which now has gone 15,000 (very happy) miles. I have gone to their service department only a few times. Reminds me of the same type of high quality service I've received at Porsche, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes Benz shops over the years. More

I thought it might be a isolated incident, so I continued working with my salesmen. I was at the dealership for more than ten hours to purchase a car and finally narrowed it to a choice out of three. A necessary criteria was a vehicle with fewer then 30,000 miles and was certified. The Finance manager offered me one with more than 40,000 miles, despite my clear requirements not to exceed 30,000 miles; Moreover the vehicle was not certified. After my brief protest the Finance Manager became disrespectful and yelled at the salesman accusing him of lying to me regarding the "Certified" status even after confirming a "Certified" sticker was posted on the vehicle's window. The Redline for me was having the Finance Manager pressure me into purchasing an additional warranty after confirming the vehicle had an existing bumper to bumper "Certified" Warranty. This indignant disposition continued when I distinctly and Clearly, noticed this Finance Manager to limit the credit inquiry to ONE! I WAS SO ADAMANT ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE I NOTICED NOT ONLY THE FINANCE MANAGER BUT THE SALESMAN AND THE SALES MANAGER. All three men were present during this specific request, However, the Sales Manager assured me only Golden One Credit Union would receive the inquiry. I learned a week later the Finance Manager made Six additional Credit inquiries despite having received an approval from Golden One. This put in jeopardy my valued positive Credit Rating and my potential Credit Standing. I called Serge the finance manager, and he confirmed my demand to limit my Credit inquiry to One and attempted to defend his placing additional inquiries by claiming my credit denial by Golden one made the added inquiries necessary. I told Serge this was a blatant disregard for the truth as I received an approval letter from Golden One Credit Union with the requested finance amount and an interest rate commensurate with my credit score. John L. Sullivan Had no right to run six additional inquiries and no right to jeopardize my credit status. I attempted to contact John L Sullivan and received no return calls and no apology. I am determined to contact not only the Credit bureau and the better business bureau and I intend to seek legal counsel for possible adjudication. I am a totally dissatisfied Customer. I expect and demand a letter of apology, letters to all three credit bureaus confirming the error and request a correction to my credit. More

Please provide customer service training I should have known something was not professional about this place when the customer service lady laughed when I got my bill for $1,000 during my fir I should have known something was not professional about this place when the customer service lady laughed when I got my bill for $1,000 during my first visit. The first time, I brought my vehicle in, my service advisor, Tom, told me I needed a new catalytic converter and informed me it would arrive 4-6 weeks. Tom never contacted me regarding any follow up status on the part. Each time I called, which was every other week, I was informed Tom would call me or I would get the run around. After four months my phone call was answered by the parts manager (Bryan?) who told me the part is always in stock and if it wasn’t, it definitly would not take 4 months to arrive. The service advisor (Tom) failed to let me know anything when I was constantly told he would call me! If I never contacted the parts department, I probably would still be waiting for my part. I went back to the dealership because during an oil change, they said I had an oil leak which was due to the oil pan. I paid approximately $800 to get the oil pan resealed. Two months later, I had another oil change. After a few days, while at home, oil leaked all over my new driveway. So I went back to the dealership since they completed the oil change in the first place. The service advisor, Jared, told me there was nothing wrong from the oil change. Instead, he told me the leak was from the oil pan. (Which remind you... they had just fixed) This was on Saturday and he informed me they would have to contact the original technician who was off until Monday. They later contacted me and stated the oil leak is due to the front engine oil cooler. After a week I finally got my car back after the service department was closed. I got stuck in traffic and by the time I got my car, everyone was closing up. Once on the highway, I immediately noticed my tire pressure sensor was not working. I called the service department and left a message. Again, no call back. My tire pressure sensor light kept coming on. I noticed the tire placed back on my car is NOT my tire. The tire and the rim is different from all the rest. Where is my original tire? All the maintenance they told me that was required makes me question the quality of work and was the maintenace I paid for really necessary or did they truly NOT know what was wrong and what they were doing? I thought they were certificed maintenance technicians? No I would not recommend anyone to get their vehicle fixed at this dealership nor do I recommend anyone buying a vehicle from this dealership! Friendly people, customer service not the best Gordon was awesome in helping g find my new car but it was the experiences after that turned my experience negative. We turned down the extra options Gordon was awesome in helping g find my new car but it was the experiences after that turned my experience negative. We turned down the extra options and then when we went to finance to sign, dent protection was added and we were told it couldn’t be removed. The finance lady who helped us was also not happy we turned down the extended warranty with gap insurance. We told her we didn’t need gap insurance because we have loan payoff with our insurance company. A couple days later I had to exchange cars because the financing wasn’t working out and when I went to sign the papers I asked to remove dent protection and she said she couldn’t because she was keeping the contract the same, just changing out the cars. I sign the papers, get home, my husband is looking at the papers the next day and finds they added the gap insurance. We checked both contracts and the first did not have it but the second one did. They added the gap insurance after I was told she was not changing the contract, only changing out the car. Now I am paying for something I truly do not need because I’m paying my insurance company for that service. More
