Easily one of the quickest, easisest, and friendliest car purchases I've ever made. I all but bought the car on the phone...it was prepped and readt when I arrived at the dealership! purchases I've ever made. I emailed the on-line department through AAA about a used CRV and RAV4. Andrew got back to me in about a day and said they would let me know if they were bought before I got a chance to get in there later th CRV and RAV4. Andrew got back to me in about a day and said they would let me know if they were bought before I got a chance to get in there later that week. Never heard from him again. When I went on site to see the cars, a new salesman Steven came out to help me. He was BRAND new, which seems to be a theme here, second time this has happen to me. He searched for the cars. The RAV4 had been sold but the CRV was found over at Rosenthal Mazda lot, even though it was listed for Acura. The car was FILTHY! Smelled like dog, had dog hair ALL over the interior, there was food crumbs all over the floor. It was obviously being used as a personal vehicle and was never cleaned. It was sold to them (according to MVA) about 3 weeks prior. It also had damage to the front bumper that was not fixed. Even though there was all these cosmetic issues with it, I still was interested and told them I would come back tomorrow and it BETTER be cleaned, detailed and bumper fixed. In the day that passed, I also told them that an outstanding recall needed to be addressed which with A LOT of bickering from a guy named Mike (sales manager?)they did do everything I asked. The next day the bumper looked before but still had a small dent it in, the car was much cleaner but their detail people SUCK. Smeared cleaner and really smelly cleaning products....why did they not just ozone it after cleaning it. I was told that they used contractors and they are not great. So, other than these details, we did buy it. The sales manager on duty the day we bought it was Gary, and he is a charm, very nice, accommodating and very willing to please without being cheesy. Steven our sales guy was a bit flaky once we said we would buy it, he completely disappeared after seeing him for 1 min the day we bought it. I can't imagine going to this Acura again and although Gary made things pleasant, not sure about the Mazda dealership either. More
Just purchased new Mazda 3 with them an hour ago. Great experience buying a car after all the other dealerships I visited. Would recommend them to anyone! Great buying experience. Everybody was courteous, helpful, resourceful and worked with us through all issues from selecting the right car for our budget to getting us the best financing rate. There w helpful, resourceful and worked with us through all issues from selecting the right car for our budget to getting us the best financing rate. There was low pressure sales and pricing discussion was transparent and fair. We were especially pleased by the absence of low class sales tactics that one finds in the majority of dealerships. You won't hear thing like: "If I can get you this price, will you be buying this car?' or the steady back and forth between sales rep and manager. Instead the manager was engaged all along, trying to understand needs, and then trying to find the best options. During the two-hours visit I saw and heard the manager, Mike Allmon, twice coaching his staff on improving their honorable selling skills All verbal promises were kept from fixing a light to filling up the tank. This is the second time we have bought from this dealership and will do so again. More
I'm a college student and my mom was buying the car. I dropped in on a whim when I was in the area after visiting Congressional Mazda. Dana was OK. Seemed like a decent guy but his sales manager (a hispan dropped in on a whim when I was in the area after visiting Congressional Mazda. Dana was OK. Seemed like a decent guy but his sales manager (a hispanic guy), whose name I can't remember, seemed like a real slimeball. Needless to say, I felt VERY uncomfortable in the dealership and we purchased the car from Congressional Mazda in Rockville. I felt like they were up to something and just didn't feel good about being in the dealer or doing business with them. Perhaps they didn't think I was serious, being a young college student, or thought since I was young guy they thought they could pull one over one me. I wouldn't recommend them. We felt much more comfortable and welcome at Congressional. More
I went to this dealer to purchase a new Mazda3 Skyactiv (GREAT car!) through Costco buyer's service. They were knowledgeable about this very new model, helpful, courteous, and handled the transaction in a (GREAT car!) through Costco buyer's service. They were knowledgeable about this very new model, helpful, courteous, and handled the transaction in a fair, truthful, and straightforward manner. I wanted leather seats, and they had a pre-existing relationship with an excellent aftermarket installer. I also talked with their service department, and found them to be helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to go back to this dealer. More
Rarely do I submit reviews but this was the worst buying experience I have ever encountered. Monday (10/31/2011) I, like many, was taking advantage of the end of the month scramble to fill quota and get a g experience I have ever encountered. Monday (10/31/2011) I, like many, was taking advantage of the end of the month scramble to fill quota and get a good deal. After emailing the internet sales manager back and forth through out the day, we established a very decent deal for a 2006 Honda Civic- I planned to pay for it in full up front, cash. Maybe a half an hour before I made the hour trek leaving my 2 month old with family to go see this vehicle, I went as far as emailing them for the umpteenth time reconfirming "I am on my way, donot sell my car!" They were well aware that I was making the trip. In one of the multiple emails earlier, I even detailed the time I would leave and arrive there. Low and behold I arrive and the gentleman helping us, although very kind, informs me that the sister dealership behind them sold the vehicle about an hour before I even left my house because they share inventory but donot always inform each other of what they are taking. Very upsetting. To make matters worse, whomever he worked with in sales gave him a list of vehicles to offer me in the place of the Honda I wanted (Chevy Trailblazer, Nissan Murano) that I would not put on the same level, let alone the same vehicle type period. I did not want to jump from a sedan to an SUV- particularly a subpar SUV with horrible ratings! I pulled up Edmunds in front of them and instead of being honest with the crap they were offering me, they made excuses that "Its an SUV. SUVs are safe." Not true. GOOD SUVs are safe, the same as any other car. Safety is a big issue for anyone with a small child such as myself. Overhearing the situation, a lady sales person chimed in. Although she was also quite nice, she made the mistake of mentioning that THEY, not the sister dealership, sold the car I came in for. She also mentioned that they should show me the Honda they still had- which they apparently 'forgot' about until this point- instead. While this vehicle was nice, the price I was offered was nearly twice what I was paying for the Honda I came for originally! Worst of all, the sales manager had the nerve to act like they were doing me a favor with pricing on both the Chevy and the other Honda. On a more serious note they also, and again I can confirm this via email messages, assured me RECALLS were fixed on the vehicle when both Honda and Carfax said they had not been!!! Dangerous much??? All in all a terrible experience. They wasted my time which could have been spent at another establishment and wasted our gas as well. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB in hopes that this does not continue to happen to anyone else. More
I like dealing with Gaithersburg Mazda. I have bought two Mazdas so far from this place and they are very friendly. I own a miata and protege. The purchase experience was fine, and I have had very good serv Mazdas so far from this place and they are very friendly. I own a miata and protege. The purchase experience was fine, and I have had very good service experiences with them as well. I scratched my miata a few years ago and had to have the rear quarter panel repainted, and the paint work wasn't perfect. That is the only reason I didn't rate them a "5" on quality of work. All other work I had done was warranty work and they did a great job with it. More

I took the day off and went in to see what would happen. I immidiately liked the salesman who was assigned to me. He was honest and did a great job answering all my questions. At the end i bought the dark blue mazda 3. More
I started to take my car here for its service needs about three years ago, they do such a nice and honest job that usually after the second year I am always looking for a newer car and I think the resean I h three years ago, they do such a nice and honest job that usually after the second year I am always looking for a newer car and I think the resean I have held on this long is because the civic i purchased from Rosenthal Mazda just runs great and I don't have the itch to replace it now.
