Frustrating encounter with a sales guy when trying to buy an accessory for our car. We went to the dealership for it because we wanted to use our reward points, which we couldn't find a way to use buying onl an accessory for our car. We went to the dealership for it because we wanted to use our reward points, which we couldn't find a way to use buying online and the Rosen guy told us on the phone before we came that we could use the points there. When we got there, he couldn't explain why the dealership price was >$20 more than on their website. He also had no clue how to apply our Nissan rewards points or even if we could actually use them or not. He kept saying it was because the program was new, but it's at least 6 mos old (probably older) since it was in place when we bought our car in June... We'd had a good experience buying from them so I'd like to think it was just this guy this time and that the dealership as a whole isn't so bad. More
We purchased our 2013 Altima from Rosen back in summer 2013. We had done some car shopping near our home (~1.5 hours from Milwaukee), including looking at Altimas at a local Nissan dealer. However, our lo 2013. We had done some car shopping near our home (~1.5 hours from Milwaukee), including looking at Altimas at a local Nissan dealer. However, our local dealer didn't have the exact model (color/features) we were interested in. They said they could look for one at other nearby dealers and have it brought in for us, but when they called back with the information for the car they found, the price seemed rather high compared to what we'd been seeing at their own dealership and online at other dealerships and Kelley Bluebook, etc. So we did some searching online and found a listing for a similar car at Rosen Nissan in Milwaukee. I called Rosen for more info on the listed car. It turned out it wasn't quite what we were looking for either, but the sales guy I was talking to (Jim) was heads up enough to gleen what details I was interested in (without my actually listing them) and to suggest that they could get the right car in within a day or so. He was also willing to negotiate with me over the phone and we were able to come to an agreement on price that I was comfortable with and was much lower than the price quoted by our local dealer. So they brought in the car, with the understanding that if the car wasn't exactly what he'd said it was or there was something 'wrong' with it by our judgment we didn't have to buy it. We drove 1.5 hours to check out the car and it was indeed just as he said it was so we ended up purchasing the car. That alone is enough for us to say we had a pretty good experience with Rosen. But there is more. We wanted to transfer plates from the car we were replacing (which was still at home - we'd driven our 2nd car to Milwaukee), but somehow managed to forget to bring the plates with us to put onto the new car. That meant that we couldn't drive the new car home that day (a Saturday) since they couldn't let us take it without plates. Great. We were thinking that'd mean we would have to go home without our new car and figure out when we could get back there with the plates so we could drive our new car home. BUT, the guy at Rosen was AWESOME in this situation! Our sales guy (Kevin I think? I talked to Jim on the phone but he didn't handle the sale) said we could take one of their rentals - no charge, not even for gas - until he could bring the new car to our house, 1.5 hrs away, on Monday - for no charge - and he'd drive the rental back to Milwaukee - all so we wouldn't have to make an extra trip back ourselves to pick up our car. Wow! We were very impressed with this whole ordeal. Way more than we expected. Monday came and the guy showed up with our car right when he said he would, and even put our plates onto the car for us. It was a good experience. More
Madelyn Newman was my well-informed and friendly salesperson. After I indicated the car (4 cylinder, 4 door sedan) I wanted, she explained all the features and positive performance of the Nissan Alt salesperson. After I indicated the car (4 cylinder, 4 door sedan) I wanted, she explained all the features and positive performance of the Nissan Altima 2.5. We walked the lot together so I could chose the exterior and interior car colors I preferred. Appearance besides performance is important to me. Madelyn explained the Nissan safety features. I specifically was looking for a car with the safety tech package and leather interior. Madelyn helped me with the process of turning in my Toyota lease auto to purchase the 2013 Nissan Altima at Rosen Nissan. She did an excellent explanation of all the features upon delivery of my new car, showed me the service dept. and assured me that if I had any future questions, she would be available to assist me. I will recommend Madelyn Newman and Rosen Nissan to any and all of my friends and family who plan to buy or lease a car. Nancy Moews More
A great experience buying a car from Rosen, and specifically Sherri Foote. It was a hassle free, no nonsense approach from Sherri, and the right price right off the bat, that made me buy from her. specifically Sherri Foote. It was a hassle free, no nonsense approach from Sherri, and the right price right off the bat, that made me buy from her. I decided on buying a Nissan Sentra about 10 days before talking with Sherri. I went back to where I bought my previous new car from, Boucher. It seemed they took my business for granted the second time around. It took me 20 minutes on the phone with Sherri, to get a price $560 lower than what Boucher said was their great price. The impressive thing is this happen before Sherri even knew I was talking to Boucher! Only after I got the much lower price did I let Sherri know about Boucher, since I applied and was approved for credit through Nissan. So it took 20 minutes with Sherri, when it took days with the Boucher and I got nowhere. When I picked the car up, it was once again hassle free, plus Sherri got me a rate lower than Boucher did even though it was still through Nissan. All and all a great experience! Highly recomment Rosen and Sherri! More
I contacted 20 different dealers via email about purchasing a nissan leaf. Sherri Foote was quick to respond and gave the lowest quote for the car I wanted. She worked with me to find the exact pa purchasing a nissan leaf. Sherri Foote was quick to respond and gave the lowest quote for the car I wanted. She worked with me to find the exact package I wanted and went to great lengths to get it delivered. We did the paperwork remotely and the car was ready when we arrived. Sherri went through everything with me on the car and we were ready to go! The only thing I wasn't happy with was the car had 500 miles on it. I wasn't told this ahead of time. Other than that, I will definitely contact Rosen to get a quote on my next vehicle purchase. More
This is our households 6th new car purchase from Rosen Nissan by the same sales team of Charlie, Rico and Kathy. Rosen never ceases to amaze me on how well they treat their customers and are truly giving Nissan by the same sales team of Charlie, Rico and Kathy. Rosen never ceases to amaze me on how well they treat their customers and are truly giving people the best deal possible. I have had some post delivery issues, but life is not perfect and things happen. It's what someone does to rectify the situation that truly matters, and Jeff Rosen has proven time and time again that "total customer satisfaction" is his goal. i have to admit that I am not an easy person to deal with when there are issues with a new car, and not once did I ever get anything other than respect and helpfulness from Jeff Rosen and his staff. I have purchased a lot of new cars over the last 20 years and Rosen Nissan is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with. Thanks again gang! Matt More
I am very satisfied with the deal and the vehicle. Negotiations were minimum creating, in what I believe, to be a fair deal for me and the dealer. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Rose Negotiations were minimum creating, in what I believe, to be a fair deal for me and the dealer. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Rosen and I would recommend Rosen to my friends. We were treated well with respect and courtesy. In brief this purchase was a pleasurable event! More
I called the salesman at the Kia location, Josh, to lease a new Kia. I wanted to get as much of the preliminary work done by phone, as I didn't want to waste my time or anyone elses in case I couldn't get a new Kia. I wanted to get as much of the preliminary work done by phone, as I didn't want to waste my time or anyone elses in case I couldn't get the deal I wanted. Well it turns out Josh went above and beyond what I could have hoped. He got us a great deal on a Kia Forte, pretty color, basic model but that is fine with me, and in the price range I wanted. No other dealership would work with me in this unorthodox way, but Josh did! I was pleased with the outcome. Thank you Rosen for having such great people as Josh in sales and the wonderful man in Finance (I didn't get his name because I was in and out of his office so quickly ) :) You guys are the best, and when my husband I look for "our" new car, instead of one for our kids, we will be visiting Rosen first! Thank you again! More
I recently took the family Nissan Altima in for an oil change and did not have an appointment. When I entered the service area I was greeted by a smiling service attendant that promptly got me checked in change and did not have an appointment. I thought I would have to wait about an hour or more for the service, but much to my delight the car was serviced and given a complementary wash in about thirty minutes. Rosen Nissan is Great! More
This is the dealership I bought my vehicle from and go back for maintenance and other issues from time to time. I had an oil change during which the hood of my car get dented. To add insult to injury, back for maintenance and other issues from time to time. I had an oil change during which the hood of my car get dented. To add insult to injury, it took me being a friend of someone who worked at the dealership to get it fixed. Suffice it to say, I take it to a trusted mechanic now for my regular maintenance. The person I dealt with was quite rude and they really waste your time and give you the run around. Now, when purchasing the vehicle I bought some extra protection. The department I was dealing with to get some covered repairs handled is uncommunicative and ignore many message. After receiving no response to my queries I asked to get in contact with a manager who is yet to get back to me. Basically they don't want to know you after they take your money. The mechanic staff are often curt and rude and simple emails and messages remain unresponded to. It makes dealing with extremely simple issues time consuming and frustrating. This is my assessment after several interactions. More
