Deceptive Pricing Rosen Hyundai claims that they "treat you like family" and promise "price transparency". This was 100% true when I bought my first car from them in 2 Rosen Hyundai claims that they "treat you like family" and promise "price transparency". This was 100% true when I bought my first car from them in 2007, but it was certainly not the case when I bought there last week (Oct 30th). Apparently this dealership is under new ownership and they aren't living up to their past reputation--far from it. The sales reps will promise you anything on the phone and then reneg once they get you on location. My sales rep quoted me a price on the phone for a cash purchase on a used 2019 Santa Fe. We were still over a grand apart, but he led me to believe that the finance guy could boost my trade in value a bit to narrow the gap. So I agreed to meet him the next day along with my wife to see if we could reach a deal. When I get there, the finance guy plays hardball on the trade in and tries to add another $500 to our agreed upon price. He says the original price required financing through them, and of course the interest rate is higher than market. As I start to walk out, he agrees to forego the undisclosed $500 fee for not financing. I reluctantly agree to the deal, because my wife absolutely loves the vehicle. Thinking I got a fair (but not great) deal I return home to see a mass email from them that $500 is being taken off all purchases that day and the next as an end of month closeout. So as it turns out, the finance manager didn't give me anything any other buyer wasn't also getting on the end of month clearance sale. It basically meant that I did end up paying a $500 penalty for paying cash. How is this price transparency and treating clients like family? Ironically my sales rep's initials are B.S., and that should have been my cue to steer clear. I'll never do business with this dishonest dealership again. Hopefully others will learn from my mistake. Stay Away!!! More

He was knowledgeable about the vehicle which made my buying experience even better, since there's a lot of technology loaded into this car. Brian and Mike in Sales, and Tim in Finance, were also excellent to deal with, and I appreciated Ron had Jeff the Service Manager jump in the car with me at one point to make sure everything was great. I highly recommend Rosen Hyundai and Ron Turner, for an easy, low-pressure car buying experience. More
