I found the mechanics to be honest when making repairs. When making my appointment the service area is always prompt taking my vehicle in on time. The only thing I find high is the labor cost. Not very organized I took my 2018 Honda Fit for initial oil change and they had my car for about 1 1/2 hours. Last half hour they couldn't find my keys. From now on I I took my 2018 Honda Fit for initial oil change and they had my car for about 1 1/2 hours. Last half hour they couldn't find my keys. Very Bad experience with service and not trustfull I noticed service department only aim is to achieve their target. They are least bothered about customer service. I moved to Wisconsin from phoenix I noticed service department only aim is to achieve their target. They are least bothered about customer service. I moved to Wisconsin from phoenix and took my 2001 Honda accord for first oil change with all star Honda on sep 2017 and during their free inspection they came up with report everything is in excellent condition ( imp:breaks readings are 8)and only issue noticed on transaxil leake (only wetness not leaking) i talk to another service advisor and he mentioned not a serious issue and can replace at next service. I took my car again for 2nd oil change in Feb2018 and though my car only having 86000 + miles i did 90000 miles service. At this time service advisor came back to me said they are seeing steering hydraulics leake and suddenly rear breaks reading went to 3 from 8. Luckily i have taken extended warranty for my car and except trans axel leake warranty took care of steering issue. It took 3 days for service team to fix my vehicle and after that they missed to properly fix the alignment issue. i took the vehicle back and they said will fix it and did some fix. I asked the service advisor what they did and her response was some minor issue and she was not willing to say what the issue is and also said we don't want you to come again for this issue. I asked about the report for alignment fix and with some hesitation she provided me a report also i said steering is very hard and the response was its new part and it will loosen after some time. I asked about the break reading issue and the response from service advisor was earlier they might have not checked properly. My situation is whom to trust and also i am worried about the service they did to my car. I lost complete trust in All-star Honda service department. Hope Al-star Honda will look into my issue and provide some feedback More
Service ruined my engine 5/10/17 took our 2008 Honda Pilot with 96875 miles on it in for timing belt / water pump service. Service was done - drove vehicle on expressway - lo 5/10/17 took our 2008 Honda Pilot with 96875 miles on it in for timing belt / water pump service. Service was done - drove vehicle on expressway - lost power steering. Called dealership - they came out and put a new drive belt on . Service never investigated WHY belt broke. Drove vehicle home. 5/11/17 - Horrible noises coming from engine compartment. Call dealership. They instruct me to "Drive it in for service" the next morning. 5/12/17 on way to dealership as instructed to do - vehicle lost all engine functions. 2nd vehicle following me takes me to dealership. Later they tow it in. 5/15/17 Dealership calls and informs us the engine is destroyed. Service employee did something wrong in servicing the vehicle which caused this engine failure. They state they will get us a "new" engine. Well "new"means from a salvaged vehicle. AKA - junkyard. 5/19/17 was informed they put an engine from a "salvaged" vehicle in my suv with 105,230 miles on it. Thats- 8,355 more miles on it - approximately 3/4 yr driving for us. Finally met with service manager - my wife and i express our displeasure with the situation .I also bring up the original charge for service which ruined my engine $682.43 and we dont feel it's wright for us to have to pay they for ruining our vehicle. His reply is "well then I'll take the parts off the engine". He also state "so sue me" He got up out of his chair in an aggressive manner and my wife and I led\ft his office. Extremely uncomfortable dealing with his aggressive mannerisms. We drove home - her crying / met extremely upset. 5/19/17 met with dealership rep.after he verifying numerous times with assistant service managers that the actions of the employee caused the engine to fail he offered a $1,000 credit for future use at this dealership. when asked about refunding the charge which led us to this he stated "we usually dont do refunds" Well $1,000 - $682.43 = about $317.00 Again thats for future use of services at this dealership. My wife and I dont feel we should pay for service which destroyed our vehicle. would prefer to address the real issue - making our vehicle as it was before we drove it into the dealership and not have to pay for the wrong they did. 5/22/17 - I called and was told vehicle was ready to pick up. when it was driven into the service bay - i could head loud ticking from the engine. I along with an assistant service manager restarted the engine / opened the hood and the noises were quite evident.. a 2nd service manager came over - listened - i stated i'm not happy and will not take this home as it is. 5/23/17 - 5/27/17 - no word from dealership as to the status of my vehicle. All my wife and i want is our vehicle back - functioning as it was prior to us bringing it into ALLSTAR Honda for routine service - We dont feel it's right to pay for service which destroyed our vehicle.
