Unnecessary maintenance on leased vehicle I am writing today to express my concern regarding your service department. My father has been attempting to advocate for me by calling and speaking I am writing today to express my concern regarding your service department. My father has been attempting to advocate for me by calling and speaking to both John Milton and Ashley (service manager) with no resolution. He also had left a message with the general manager. I brought my Honda Civic (of which I leased from the Schlossmann Honda City - and where I should have gone for my maintenance) to your dealership on 9/25/18 for a routine oil change... of which I have prepaid for through my lease package. I was met by A gentleman who was to be my service representative for the day. He sat in my front seat for less than one minute... in this time he was able to confirm that my oil was due to be changed (of which I already knew) but was also able to tell me that my brake fluid was at 7% and definitely needed to be changed (not sure where he got that number from?) He made me feel as though I was in danger if I were not to have this taken care of. He also informed me that “several other maintenance items were due”. I questioned him on the 7%... and he said I DEFINITELY needed brake fluid as well as the additional maintenance. Not knowing much about cars... and being gawked at by several members of the service team and being made to feel extremely uncomfortable... I agreed to the services... not exactly knowing what it was that I was agreeing to. When I received my bill and noted that I was charged not only for brake fluid ($5.90) I was charged $94.05 for someone to unscrew a cap and pour it into my car. This made me very upset. I was also charged $110.00 for someone to “clean and adjust” my self adjusting brakes? My father builds and restores cars... there is no possible way that an oil change, removal, cleaning and replacing of brakes were completed within the 40 minutes I was at the dealership! On top of that... a “complimentary” multi-point vehicle inspection was completed as well? All in 40 minutes? I was there for 40 minutes and was charged $247.56 - $5.90 for brake fluid and the rest for labor?! I can’t imaging your dealership pays your mechanics $250/hour? After receiving my bill, the service rep informed me that now my brake fluid will last me to 40,000 miles. I questioned him why my brake fluid didn’t last me to 40,000 miles in the first place? He didn’t have an answer, just that “now it was good”. My father spoke to Ashley again this morning, of which she offered NOTHING - stating that I agreed to the services that were provided. I did not know what I was agreeing to! I thought that my maintenance package was paid for through my lease! Your service representatives are taking advantage of individuals who don’t know much about cars and are charging and performing (if they’re even being done) maintenance on cars that are not warranted! My car has 15,000 miles on it! it is in PERFECT condition! No such maintenance should have EVER been offered - and to use scare tactics by making me feel as though I was in danger without it! By not making this situation right... you are condoning the embarrassing behavior of your service representatives. I expect a call from the general manager by the end of day today. I look forward to talking to you. More

Paid my bill, got some good discounts but then my car key got lost. Didn't appear I got my complimentary car wash but Andrew offered to run my truck thru again . Andrew (employee who worked with me) was great! All in all i would recommend Honda for your vehicke needs. More
