Stress cracked windshield Windshield cracked from extreme cold. The crack started at the very bottom and middle of windshield, up about 6 inches and towards drivers side about Windshield cracked from extreme cold. The crack started at the very bottom and middle of windshield, up about 6 inches and towards drivers side about a foot. Then cracked more after a couple of days. Took in to Honda and after employee dug her nail into crack, it created a small mark and said it wasn't covered under the warranty. I asked for general manager and he came and proceeded to make the hole bigger with his pen and said crack was caused by this "chip". Two other qualified auto technicians, one a windshield repair man, said the crack was a stress crack because it would have cracked straight across and not curved down if it was from "chip". Called owner and have had no response. Will call BBB. More
