I bought a fine Quality used 2005 Cheverlot Equinox at a VERY GOOD price from Rose Motors in Uxbridge MA. Knowing that it was a used car I had my own mechanic look it over and he said that it seemed to be i VERY GOOD price from Rose Motors in Uxbridge MA. Knowing that it was a used car I had my own mechanic look it over and he said that it seemed to be in excellant condition, but it did need new brake pads and rotors. Jim at Rose Motors replaced them, fixed the A/C and even detailed the car before we picked it up. John gave me a lead on some very good financing through my AAA club and that was it, a done deal. I expected a few minor problems to appear and 1 or 2 did indeed happen, such as a headlight/tailight, a suqeaky idler pully and a dome light(my problem, I accadently turned it off). ALL my little problems were fixed under thier fair and responsible warranty policy. I not only got a great deal on a good used car I also had a very enjoyable buying experiance. My wifes friend happened to buy a car for her daughter about the same time and it was quite a coincenadense that she had a similar experance with the place they bought thier car from. It turned out they bought thier car from from Rose Moters also, and could not be any happier with the service they got from John and Jim. In my opinion if someone is looking for a good used car the should stop by Rose Motors and check them out! More
I was first time car shopping and I know quite a bit about cars to begin with. When I decided I liked one of the cars we had taken it off the lot to be looked at by a mechanic. This way we would know of about cars to begin with. When I decided I liked one of the cars we had taken it off the lot to be looked at by a mechanic. This way we would know of any problems. The car seemed to be perfect. Within a month later the key started getting stuck in the ignition which led to the battery draining to a point where my engine would shut it self down!!! Even jumping it couldn't help because codes had to be run and everything. They "fixed" the problem because it was under warranty and all they did was temporarily fix the shifter so the key could come out. Now less than a month later the problems happen again and they will charge me to fix it because they feel they completely fixed it the first time. When I tried to tell them clearly they didn't they blamed the problems on ME! Claiming I spilled coffee into the shifter; I don't even drink coffee !! They put up an argument with me over that and still won't take responsibility for the issue. So now I'm on my own with the issue and have to tow my car to another mechanic to have it repaired. Don't trust them, horrible customer service, and they don't fix any problems. Don't waste your money you will only end up spending wayyyy more in the end !! Go elsewhere. More
We recently purchased a Ford Focus at Rose Motors in Uxbridge. They rebuild cars that are totaled from an accident. I was a bit leery at first but after driving a few of their vehicles, I was willing Uxbridge. They rebuild cars that are totaled from an accident. I was a bit leery at first but after driving a few of their vehicles, I was willing to give it a try. We test drove 3 or 4 vehicles that all drove rather well. There was no pressure from the sales person John and we also talked to the mechanic (Jimmy, I believe). They took the time to show us the before pictures of the vehicle as it arrived. Many of the vehicles did not have a lot of damage but just enough that the insurance company did not wish to repair it. We felt there were no dealer secrets. They were every up front with us. We made an offer on one that was sold the day before and they called back to let us know. They always called back when we had a question whether the news was good or bad. One vehicle we made an offer on was already taken, but they did call to let us know. When we did find the right vehicle, they encouraged us to have the vehicle checked out by our mechanic so we would be confident that everything was OK. They promised to take care of anything that was wrong. So we did have a mechanic check it out and he found a few minor issues. My mechanic gave me a list and we showed it to Rose Motors. They fixed all items on the list, which was about $500 worth of repairs. After we purchased the car, we had an issue with a broken door handle which they also fixed without any fuss or issues. They even worked on the repair on a Friday evening and the following Saturday morning (when they were able to get the parts) so we could take it on vacation that day. We had an excellent sales & service experience. Rose Motors is just a couple of honest local guys trying to make a living in an industry they really enjoy. I would, without question, recommend purchasing a vehicle here. We had an excellent sales & service experience. BTW, the car has been running beautifully over the last several months since we purchased it. More

Be careful at Rose Motors. They sell cars that I believe to be salvage titles. Or at least ones that are in accidents. They won't do a Carfax for you (red flag warning right there). Beware. I believe to be salvage titles. Or at least ones that are in accidents. They won't do a Carfax for you (red flag warning right there). Beware. I went there last year to help a friend buy a car, and the manager (can't remember his name) told me the one she was looking at was in perfect shape, never been in an accident, and bought from the Cape. Well, upon further inspection, the "bought from the Cape" part was the only truth he told me that day. The hood was off-center, and one of the doors didn't close all the way. I asked him if he could provide a Carfax to us, and he said, "sure, you can do a Carfax"....I said, "No, will you provide one for something on your lot?" and he said, "No", opened up his cell phone and started dialing it as he walked away. We walked out. More
