Lets see where to start. After driving 2.5 hours to the dealer i was anxious to purchase a vehicle on the lot. Well i was with the salesman and told him what i wanted to pay for the vehicle i was looking a dealer i was anxious to purchase a vehicle on the lot. Well i was with the salesman and told him what i wanted to pay for the vehicle i was looking at. After going back and forth and him going to secretly talk to his manager or his finance guy who apparently is one in the same he came back and told me he could get me the price i wanted as long as i gave them the opportunity to try and use their finance company since the finance companies give them a kickbacl. I agreed to let them try to finance me but i already had a good interest rate locked in and ready to have a check handed to them and walk out the door with the truck. He said thats fine as long as i give them a chance we can make a deal for that price even if i use my bank. After a long wait they tell me that the interest rate is going to be double what i was already approved for at my local bank. Now the salesman comes back after another secret meeting with his manager/finance and tells me the car is going to be $499.00 more. I said what the xxxx is this about 1st we agree on a price now you say something different. He then says "I didnt say that you must have misunderstood". Well crap if i misunderstood i wouldnt have waited so long in this boring place and gotten on with my life and found another vehicle. Well on my way out the door i stop and talk to Mrs. Bush apparently the owners daughter and let her know what kind of liars she has has working for her. Well of course she comes out and says lets get this ironed out Mr Finance guy wants to talk to you. So i go into his office and low and behold he is a complete xxxxxx because i refuse to use the finance company he is obviously "in bed" with and he wont make as much. He tries to sales lingo his way into convincing to purchase this car but its not working so instead of listening to his crap i decide im just going to go because they could care less about making money. Long story: If i were you i would stay as far away from this dealer and their shady tactics as you possibly could. It proved to me that car salesmen and dealerships like this still do exist even in a as the salesman said "Mayberry" type town. The only decent thing at the dealership to deal with the Dog walking around. Mrs, Bush, Both Jeffs, and maybe his name is Daryl salesman name i didnt care to remember i hope you read this. More
