I am sorry to say I have to revoke my 5 start review - I bought a brand new car there last month - it has a problem - my choices are to sit at the dealership - for however long it takes them - or wait until they can find me a loaner car - they have no idea when that might be - and to top it all off they seem to think I have free time to be available when they figure out how to honor the commitments they made to me. More

Earlier this year Hyundai reached out to me saying my 2017 elantra was at risk for being stolen through the tiktok challenge. They said they had a security update they wanted to install that would preven 2017 elantra was at risk for being stolen through the tiktok challenge. They said they had a security update they wanted to install that would prevent the car from being stolen without a key. So I took my car to Ron Tonkin to have this done. When I got my car back the invoice said the update was installed and decals were placed in the windows to verify the update was installed. Roughly 4 weeks later my car was stolen out of my driveway. The thief used a usb cord to start the car. I contacted Hyundai Motor America and they told me to take my car back to the dealer to make sure the update had been installed. When I called Tonkin they told me not to bring the car in because the update was installed. I told them HMA was requesting me to do this and I had a case number. They still did not want me to bring the car in. So I contacted Hyundai Motor America again and they told me to take it to another dealer. This time I tried Dick Hannah's Hyundai. When I got the car back from them the invoice said they inspected car and found no update had been installed but the decals were placed in the window. Dick Hannah installed the update. I would not have parked my car outside if I had known no update had been installed. I emailed Tonkin twice, no response. I did talk to someone from the service dept. All they said was, sorry about that. I just found out my insurance was raised 15%. Other insurance companies will not insure certain Hyundais (mine). So no shopping around for cheaper insurance. Also in Oregon when your car is stolen the title is branded, thus losing value. It's been a real headache. More
Did not appreciate the selling of unnecessary alignment, told tires are wearing unevenly , they are not. Car alignment is set at the factory. My tire pressure was 36lbs when I last checked.
