Worst experience ever, David Lee was polite and helpful. The finance manager was full of xxxx. Had aggreed on a price for a new car, my wife sign for it. Sales manager comes back out and says ,"wait I The finance manager was full of xxxx. Had aggreed on a price for a new car, my wife sign for it. Sales manager comes back out and says ,"wait I can not sell it to you for that price".....what?!.....we just signed papers. service manager,"my mistake its going to be $2000 more" Bullsh$t move on the finance managers part, how can you say yes we can to no we cant and not give us the paper we jsut signed back. This dealer needs a new service manager.....what a bad liar. Thanks for nothing...i am going out of my way to make sure everyone knows not to buy a car from here. More
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing a new or used car in my life. We had an appointment to meet with Scott, he was not available so another salesman helped us, it was the ty purchasing a new or used car in my life. We had an appointment to meet with Scott, he was not available so another salesman helped us, it was the typical sleezy used car salesman experience. When we were finally introduced to Scott an hour after our scheduled appointment time, he did not appear to know us, I had to state to him "you know your 10 am appointment?" They used the high pressure sales tactics, were pushy, obnoxious, told us we were stupid if we didn't do it etc. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, nor will I ever purchase a car from Ron Tonkin. We had to travel from Vancouver to Gladstone for this appointment, it was a huge waste of time and energy. If they ever mention the name Scott Granstrom to you, run the other way - he is HORRIBLE. Maggie is dedicated to vehicle service and customer satisfaction. She worked with me on getting started on a list of maintainance issues that I could not afford to do all at once. In a very professional manner she listed the most serious items to ones that could be fixed at a later time as I could manage the cost. Maggie quickly and effectivly detailed to me via picture diagrams the items that were in need of repairs and disscussed the saftey issues associated to those items. I appriciate the attention she gave to my situation and the service my truck needed. Maggie did not slow or try to cut short the explainations of my service needs as the closing hour approached. She showed me that she was commited to me as a customer through her obvious skills in the position as a service writer. I can tell you what a comfortable feeling I had the moment I walked in the door. There was no pushy sales men lurking at the entrance or pushing me towards what they wanted to sell but rally was concerned about meeting my needs and providing me and my family with a safe reliable vehicle that will last us years to come. My sales professional Jared was very easy to work with. He had a great knowledge of the inventory on his lot and what options the car I was looking at had. Brian Barnes the Sale Mgr was also a great guy to work with. He was up front about what he could do for me today and didn’t try to pull any numbers games like most of the old school Hustler’s out there. He was a straight shooter and I would highly recommend any one of my friends to visit him for their next Car or truck. He also new his inventory like the back of his hand. And last but not least, Eric Hernandez helped me through a speedy process signing all my appropriate paperwork and also had a great deal of knowledge about my extended warranty I purchased. This is a must now a days because of the cost of most repairs is overwhelming. For just a few extra dollars a month I can now drive across the country worry free. Buying cars from private parties is a big risk. But buying from Ron Tonkin Dodge has been a blessing. I love you guys. More
Moe was the best salesman I have ever worked with he had great knowledge of the cars we were looking at and of the loan process, he had us in and out pretty quick for a car purchase. I had been researching and obsessing over the Challenger for something like 3 months. When I was finally able to start seriously shopping for one, I ran into some difficulties. The largest was finding a c for something like 3 months. When I was finally able to start seriously shopping for one, I ran into some difficulties. The largest was finding a car that had what I was looking for, because what I was looking for was one WITHOUT any options on it... they simply don't get ordered that way by dealerships. So, this complaint is more directed at Dodge for not making the "quick order package" info more readily available on their website. If this had been available up front I could have more accurately calculated the financing costs ahead of time. So, with that said, I would like to thank Ken for finding me a car that fit my wants and budget perfectly. The end price was cut down from what the original window sticker said to more what I expected from my previous research. He and his co-workers also stayed late on the night I signed the deal, and help me make a dream come true! The other dealerships I had been talking to seemed more interested in trying to push me into a car with options I wasn't interested in, than trying to help me get what I was really looking for. The straight forward, no nonsense service I received from Tonkin Dodge was refreshing... and the car is absolutely AMAZING!!! THANK YOU! More

My wife and I had a painless experience with Ron Tonkin Dodge. I did a lot of internet shopping before coming into to the dealership. What a waste of my time!!
