This dealership had the *only* Jeep Grand Cherokee with the diesel motor we could find, and it was the Summit trim level, exactly what we wanted! We were given very fair pricing (was used as a demo, 2000 miles on it) and the dealership showed impressive integrity; another couple drove in to see the same vehicle and arrived shortly after we did. They did not mention the other couple was there for the same vehicle until after we finalized everything because they didn't want us to feel pressured. Even with another customer who drove from Bend for this vehicle, they did not try to price gouge us or pressure us. Aaron worked with us to look at different warranty and maintenance offers to help us get the deal that best fit our needs and is at a price we are comfortable with. There was no closed door price tactics, they were completely upfront throughout about the fact that they were showing us real numbers and why the numbers were what they were. We traded in a Nissan Murano convertible, which is a rare car. Considering that this will likely be a tough sell and they will probably sit on it until convertible weather returns, they still put the time in to do research so they were able to offer a fair trade-in price on our immaculate, low mileage vehicle. We are in our 20s and look young for our age, and just yesterday were treated very poorly at a Volvo dealership because the staff assumed we couldn't afford to buy there. This is a common experience for us, but this attitude is noticeably absent at this and another Ron Tonkin dealership we bought from last year. Because our experience at the Grand Turismo dealership in Wilsonville was so great we were excited to see the vehicle we wanted was at another Ron Tonkin dealership. Both dealerships took the time to explain why they recommended the warranties they did as well as how not all GAP insurance is equal in benefit. No other dealership has ever done these two things to help ensure we make the best choices for our situation. We absolutely love our new Jeep. Even as a demo the interior was immaculate, Vlado clearly took care of the car. Having looked at other demos in the past, we didn't purchase because they looked used. Not so here! Vlado was very kind and we enjoyed chatting with him. The atmosphere was welcoming and everyone was attentive and very genuine in dealing with us. When we were leaning against the extended warranty Aaron immediately respected our position and updated the payment information so we could make a comparison. We also asked about leasing, wanting to compare vs. buying as we've never leased before. Although we ended up buying, Aaron ran numbers and made adjustments to help us compare leasing vs. buying which we greatly appreciated and definitely helped us feel confident that buying was the best choice for us. We are very impressed with every aspect of our experience at this dealership and have definitely come to trust the Ron Tonkin name. We look forward to continuing to be customers at this dealership for sales and service in the future and will absolutely return. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone! Rude and Condescending Was looking for a 2016 Dodge Durango Citadel, and I did a pre-approval on roadloans just to see what they would do, we got a call from Scott saying th Was looking for a 2016 Dodge Durango Citadel, and I did a pre-approval on roadloans just to see what they would do, we got a call from Scott saying that in the 5 years they have partnered with roadloans, they have never went with them because the dealer has to pay $2500 just to fund a roadloans loan, and it isn't worth it to them. Mind you, all I wanted was a pre-auth. I never (knowingly) gave permission for Tonkin Dodge to pester me, but Scott called. He was rude and condescending and wouldn't let me explain what I wanted. He said we couldn't do any pre-auth over the phone, and we had to drive 30+ miles just to sign a form giving them permission to run our credit. After I heard this, and being talked down to and basically TOLD what I was going to do(remember, I never asked for Tonkin to call!) I told him that I would continue our deal with NW Jeep Dodge, and Scott said Fine, go there and spend more money. Well, we did, and actually saved alot of money. The same type of SUV there with more options was more than $6000 less than Tonkin! And we got a great rate through Chrysler Financing. So I guess I should thank Scott and Tonkin for being so rude and pushing me towards actually saving money at NW Jeep Dodge.. I'm amazed this company can still be in business with Scott working there. Will be cross-posting this to every review site I can find.. Also, after all this happened, they actually ran our credit anyway, without written authorization and came back trying to get our business. More

Our first experience at another Tonkin dealership several years ago was at that time unexpectedly great. Our most recent purchase was a little complicated from our end because we had 2 trades and only brought one. Sung our salesperson, Jeff our finance person and Blota the GM didn't miss a beat and stayed an hour after closing to finish up the deal to our satisfaction. Sung even had to come to our house later that night to get the second trade. Our family is extremely satisfied with our Ron Tonkin experience. More

I went to Tonkin wanting to buy a Hyundai Accent No I could not even look at my choice they decided they wanted me to purchase a Chevrolet Impala and that was all they could do for me. They promised 1 digit percentage rate on financing and what did I get? 29% interest rate and the price of the car was 4 ,000 more than it was selling for. The salesman told me I should be grateful I left that place and I will never be put in a situation like that again Thanks for the lesson RT. More
