Short Ver *** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE *** There is no other way to really say it: Pleasant Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership is awful! Short Version: - Started working on my vehicle two hours after my scheduled appointment. - Failed vehicle inspection because I declined $400 of unnecessary work. - Wasted almost three hours of my time for a procedure that can be thoroughly completed in under an hour. - Exceptional level of indifference, and lack of customer service, from service manager and receptionist. Detailed Version: I scheduled a service appointment to complete the annual inspection and emissions check for one of my vehicles on August 13th at 8:30AM. Ten minutes before my scheduled appointment I gave the keys and required paperwork to the service manager: Ed Moore. After waiting an hour and forty-five minutes for this relatively routine procedure; I went to the service desk to inquire about my vehicle. The receptionist checked, returned and told me the service manager wanted to speak with me. Ed said he wanted to replace the front brake pads and resurface the rotors, a procedure costing nearly $400, or he wouldn't pass the vehicle. Knowing the brake pads are fairly new, less than 20,000 miles, not squealing, or giving us any problems; I said I would look at them and change them if necessary. Ed then asked me if I still wanted to complete the emissions test; not wanting my entire morning to have been wasted, I said I would but asked how long it would take to complete. Ed Moore, the service manager, told me they were "just getting to it", the test takes only a few minutes and that I "would be on my way in ten to fifteen minutes." In the meantime I could pay my bill. Because I declined the unnecessary work, costing upwards of $400; the service manager failed the inspection and told me that it is "state-mandated" that I still pay the full fee for the inspection; pass or fail. And unless I wanted to pay an extra $400 for unnecessary work nothing could be done. So I paid the bill and asked for my vehicle. Forty-five minutes after I paid the bill I was given my keys and able to leave. *** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE *** More

I assure you your lies will catch up to you and cost you sales. since you are commission loss of sales can hurt word of mouth should be important. a hand shake from derrick in so called management is worthless. never had any complaints well I can read I saw some 1.0 in there. I wanted to thanks Tyler and Frankie for taking good care of me , my husband and my new car. I was hesitant about purchasing a car. They made it very easy and were not pushy like some sales people can be of me , my husband and my new car. I was hesitant about purchasing a car. They made it very easy and were not pushy like some sales people can be. I also did not have to spend a lot of time at the dealer waiting for decisions regarding pricing or paperwork. They were honest and up front about the vehicle and the financing. I feel great about my purchase and that helps me to enjoy my new car. More
Tyler was very patient with my daughter, Kelli, whom was unsure if she was able to afford a new car payment. The finance department made that possible and she loves her new Dodge Dart! He doesn't pressure me at all to purchase a car but instead just talks to me about the process and helps me along the way. I know that I will be purchasing a car soon and I am more likely to purchase it from this dealer/Mr. Stay because he has been more of a friend throughout this process than a pressuring car salesmen.
