Customers Beware! !!!! I had brought my Chev EXPRESS van in to be serviced on 11/01/2024, usually I do not bring my vehicle to dealers because of these problems. Had !!!! I had brought my Chev EXPRESS van in to be serviced on 11/01/2024, usually I do not bring my vehicle to dealers because of these problems. Had them reprogram Transmission because not shifting rite, they also replaced a sensor in front bumper. Total bill was 872.07. When I picked it up they informed me that it my take awhile for Transmission to learn my driving habits before it's adjusted and if it doesn't bring it back and they will reprogram it. I said no problem, I left and tranmission bang a couple of times and settled in and I was like cool. It ran OK for couple of weeks and started again, I called them and they said no problem bring it back and they will reprogram it. I brought it back beginning of Dec 2024, they called next day and said I have good news and bad news, I was like marvelous, he said tranmission is gone good news I have one on shelf 🤔 gives me an estimate of about 8,000 dollars, mind you truck is 2012 and they new I was trying to sell it. I had told them I needed to talk to wife and would get back to them. They proceed to tell me they have a program where you can apply for money to make repairs 🤔. Next thing I know a salesman is calling me to buy a truck on there lot that's just like mine, these trucks are running new around 100,000 dollars it's a cube van with utility chest. Not interested I said. They call back next day and I said still talking to wife will let you know. I called them next morning and said wife said no, he proceed to tell me they have already order the parts 🤔 not my problem, he said to me you will have to have it towed out of here, I asked why considering I drove it in there?? Evidently they took it apart hum 🤔 can everybody see where this is going, I mean really this is 2024 you can plug into truck computer to see what's wrong. Call next day to get truck and get hit with a 560.00 bill 😮 not to mention I already paid for this. I told them I wouldn't pay more than 200.00 which wife was against. They said 360.00 I said no. So here we are January 1,2025 which they still have my truck, which I've lost 3 potential buyers because I don't have truck. I am lucky time is on my side, I don't need truck as it works threw legal system, most people can't do this because they need their vehicle back. So Beware before you go there if you need your vehicle back. Only reason I went there only Chev dealer in area that truck would fit in doors. Need to do homework before you go there ( A.G. office is better business bureau reviews which some I've read and are horror stories) Stay tuned for updates will take time, but I'm retired, have all the time in the world. Vehicle initially brought in for Recall, and engine/transmission concern. I was told vehicle needed oil change, spark plug replacement, and fuel injection cleaning, and oil line replacement. Ser engine/transmission concern. I was told vehicle needed oil change, spark plug replacement, and fuel injection cleaning, and oil line replacement. Service totaled over $1,400. Got vehicle back and noticed engine/transmission concern wasn’t resolved. I brought vehicle back to dealership and vehicle was looked over again where I was told transmission needed replacement. Customer service was acceptable, however technician diagnostic deemed poor, and truck was not tested following $1,400 service work. More
