Bought truck new in 2019. Truck today has 31k mikes. Multiple issue with the truck as one time it had to be towed to the shop. Every time it goes to the shop I provide a list of issues from radio only works sometimes and a check engine light. Truck typically takes three to four weeks to get it back each time only to still have exact problems with radio and get 10 miles down the road and check engine light comes back on. Each times it goes in no loaner cars available of course. It’s rare to actually get the guy that is in charge of handling my issue on the phone. I do believe they are under staffed in this area and certainly understaffed for diesel technicians. Last time it was in the shop I received a call that the batteries are dead and they need to jump it off, problem is truck had already been there two and a half weeks. So basically it sat with no one touching it. This truck is needed for my business and when it’s in the shop I’m out of work or will have to rent a truck. A lot of empty promises when you buy it from them. Second truck I’ve bought from them, the first was a 2017 2500 diesel. After being in the shop shop repeatedly and owning it for a year and a half with 60k miles they convinced me to buy this one because of all the problems with the first one. So now upside down with even more issues. My fault for trusting them. More

After this experience and reading through a lot of these reviews, I seriously doubt I will ever go back. This is the first dealership that I have been to that doesn't set up appointments for service. How it can that be? in this day an age with all the technology that we have, they still think people are incapable of meeting times. why is it so important that my vehicle sit on a lot for a week before it can get looked at...that in itself is ridiculous. Secondly, after I got over the "it will take a week before someone will have time to look at it" I left my truck there.. I waited patiently for my truck and a week went by. Danny called said he would have answer either following Monday or Tuesday morning. I was ok with that. another 3 days goes by and my truck is still sitting in the same spot it was when delivered. The work on my truck was all warranty work. Guaranteed money! Bad thing is,.. I really wanted them to work out. I live in the area and would have spent the life of my truck getting services done by them. and this point in time very doubtful. Timothy Ware More
Terrible service department now. We've serviced our Durango solely at Ron Carter League City for 5 years. I dropped it off on Monday to have a pair of items looked at. They never contacted me about wha Durango solely at Ron Carter League City for 5 years. I dropped it off on Monday to have a pair of items looked at. They never contacted me about what was going on, after 4 days of "We're investigating the problem" the truthful answer was that no work had been done on my car and that they hoped that maybe the next week someone would look at it. Completely unacceptable, so I reclaimed the car after no work being done. After reviewing the paperwork when I picked up the car, the information entered into the service ticket wasn't even close to what I had verbally said. Danny would not even speak to me when I came to pick up the car. More
I took my Jeep there for service engine light. No phone call for 2 days, kept jeep for 8 days. Worst service ever. Very Rude service. Danny was irritated with me for calling to check on my Jeep. Couldn' call for 2 days, kept jeep for 8 days. Worst service ever. Very Rude service. Danny was irritated with me for calling to check on my Jeep. Couldn't tell me what was wrong for 4 days and then 4 days later I finally get answers and that service is done. Overcharged by $162. My warranty won't pay for extra's. I will never return. More
I have been a long time (7 years) loyal customer of Ron Carter and was treated like garbage at the Express Lane counter today and will now take my business to Clear Lake Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep. I purchased Carter and was treated like garbage at the Express Lane counter today and will now take my business to Clear Lake Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep. I purchased my Cherokee based off of a friends referral from this dealership 7 years ago and have always brought it for all of my service and repair needs. Today just like my last visit in June and many others before, I came in to have my oil changed at 12:30pm (the shop closes at 2pm). The representative at the counter asked if I had an appointment when I told him I was there for an oil change and that I always got my vehicle serviced there and it never required an appointment for an oil change. He told me he had been working there for a month and it was required. I then pulled up the website where it specifically states "No Appointment Needed" and he shrugged it off. Either RC needs to remove that statement from their website or this employee needs to be retrained in policy and customer service etiquette. This employee made me feel extremely disrespected today and that my business longer mattered to the Ron Carter organization. More
Shopped price on 2 identical Jeeps between South Fork Jeep and Ron Carter League City. I was informed by Ron Carter that the one I drove at Southfork had no hard top, which it did. I finally had to show Jeep and Ron Carter League City. I was informed by Ron Carter that the one I drove at Southfork had no hard top, which it did. I finally had to show the salesman on the internet that it had a hard top on the window sticker. Rude. Their best deal was about $5,000 more expensive than the identical Jeep at Southfork. Then I had to block texts from the Ron Carter salesman asking if I still wanted their Jeep. I left and will never go back. More
Service/Maintenance Department Overcharges Labor Costs Recently I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee for some AC repair and this dealership way overcharged for the labor. Bottom line is that they will gouge you f Recently I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee for some AC repair and this dealership way overcharged for the labor. Bottom line is that they will gouge you for all they can. After speaking to service rep Danny and Maintenance Supervisor Raymon about my concerns they did nothing to alleviate them. Consumers deserve good service at a reasonable cost and should not have to worry about price gouging. This dealership will take you for as much as they can. I will never return. More

I was sold two LEMONS and feel completely taken advantage of as a woman consumer. For Car A had a broken motor mount and Car B had damage underneath the front end. They fixed the motor mount on Car A. While driving Car B it felt like the power steering went out. I was frustrated, but I thought it would be okay because I bought the extended warranty. So when the service person from Ron Carter LC called to inform there was damage under the front end and asked if I had wrecked it I was baffled! I had never wrecked the car. The CarFax showed it had been in an accident from the back. The sales person reassured me it was minor. Ron Carter League City either intentionally sold a vehicle with damage or did not do an appropriate inspection of the vehicle. I bought from they because I thought they were a reputable company but that is NOT the product or service that was was provided. Please be cautious and think twice before buying from this establishment. More
Sales person David Holman is a great sales person. I will not buy a car unless, it is with David. He is a great person, and really cares about his customers.
