I had a very positive experience when I purchased a new car at Thomas Motors of Joliet. What I liked most is that I did not feel pressured by anyone during the sales negotiation. I was looking for a new Camry and decided to go to Thomas Toyota in Joliet primarily because we took my wife's Toyota 4-Runner there for service and were happy with the service we received. I was working with Marco over email/phone about making a deal for a 2011 Gray Camry w/Leather Package. I went to put a deposit down and they just got a 2011 Black Camry, now it didn't have the leather package I wanted or the remote start (which never comes factory installed anyway) but the dealership offered to install those options aftermarket with Toyota parts, and the clear coat bra to prevent against dings to the front end. So I decided to take it for a test drive. I worked with Yarohn, (Marco was offsite that day) and ended up buying it that Thursday night and I took the car back on the following Monday morning to get the clear coat bra, leather, and remote start installed. Everything got installed by vendors of Thomas Toyota and I pick up the car Thursday night, and noticed the doors no longer unlock when you put your hand in the driver's door handle and the locking mechanism doesn't work either from the door handle but the remote start works. The clear coat bra looked great. I found the Customer Service Manager (Jermaine) and showed him what was happening. Now he was pretty sure that wasn't normal but he said he wanted to verify with the Service Team to confirm and he would call me back tomorrow which was fine with me. The horror part of the story begins...As I'm driving the car home that night I start playing with buttons and lights and notice the dome lights and vanity mirror lights don't work. The new power leather seat isn't heated as its suppose to be and when you press and release the button for the back adjustment it goes all the way to the horizontal position touching the backseat and the reverse when bringing it back up. The next morning the clock wouldn't hold time and later goes completely dim to were you can't see the time. Later in the day one of the leather panels that was installed on the door pushed in and you could stick your hand into the inside of the door. Now I was pretty upset at this point having a brand new car with so many issues and after talking with my boss he recommended just asking for a new car with everything factory installed and the same deal. He said you don't know what else is wrong with that car, you don't want a lemon that you have to bring in every month, and you want to feel good about writing that car payment for the next five years. That's exactly what I did, I explained to Jermaine all the things that went wrong and he said that Thomas Toyota could fix those things but if that's what I wanted and that's going to make me happy then that's what they would do and he NEVER asked me to bring in the car to verify these things were wrong. I stopped by the dealer that night after work just so they could see what their vendors did to that car to hopefully prevent the issue in the future. You know what that night they had a new car on its way from another dealer to their location in the original color I wanted and everything factory installed (minus the remote start). Once the car arrived they told me they wanted to check it out and to expect a call on Saturday. All went well and Saturday morning I got a call that my new new (not a typo) car was ready. I went in that afternoon and John, General Manager, apologized for all the issues and his attitude the entire time was I want you to leave here happy. On the new new car we didn't put the clear coat bra on and to calm my worries they had a Toyota Certified Tech come in to install the remote starter, because he understood I was a little worried about having anything done to the new new car. I picked up the car a few days ago and all is well. All I can say is that Marco, Yarohn, Jermaine and John took what was a horrible situation and turned it around to a great one. The customer service they provided during these circumstances was just remarkable. Regardless that their vendors did the work they took complete ownership of the issue and focused on resolving it for me. Because of the way they do business I have a brand new Camry with everything I wanted. Thanks to everyone at Thomas Toyota and I'll definitely be back in the future! More

I had a very good experience with Thomas Toyota of Joliet. On arrival, Francesco enquired about our needs for a new Toyota Sienna and was able to find one which had all the features we were looking fo Joliet. He helped us negotiate a price with the manager. They did not have the color of the van we were looking for but was able to get one for us within 2 days (amazing!). Once our van reached the dealership, we were able to complete the transaction very smoothly. Marco and Jermaine were very helpful in explaining different aspects of ownership of the vehicle.
