I just recnetly purchased a new 2012 Toyota Camry SE from Thomas in Joliet. I work as a car salesman so I know the game. I went there expecting the high pressure situation, and hearing about how they wouldnt be able to get me close to the price I was looking for on my trade or on the car I was looking to buy. Well to my surprise it was quite the "OPPOSITE"! Walter was the salesman I had dealt with. I went in along with my mother and father and Walter was nothing but accomodating. He answered all our questions for us, and even let just the three of us take the car for the initial test drive. We didnt purchase on our fist day cause we wanted to do a little more homework on the car. Well we ended up back at Thomas a few days later and purchased the Camry. Walter was great and very friendly to us all. When it came time to do the paper work we worked with Jim Knizek. He was amazing as well. Very fast, very organized. Not like how the dealerships where I have worked were like. We were in and out within 2 hours and that was from walking in the door to leaving with the car. Just an amazing dealership and amazing service. I will definately reccomend them to other friends and family, and when it comes time again for another car, I will definately be going back to Thomas Toyota In Joliet. More
Never again will I buy a Toyota. This dealership experience was so bad I have to think Toyota Corp allows this type of practice. I've emailed, left voice mails with Marco and Jermain and neither wil experience was so bad I have to think Toyota Corp allows this type of practice. I've emailed, left voice mails with Marco and Jermain and neither will return a call. I contacted Toyota Corp and was told they had 3 days to contact me but that was 9 days ago and nothing. This was my first experience with a new car other than Ford, GM or Dodge and from this experience it will be my last. More

We just purchased a 2012 Camary, Walter was nothing but friendly and he listened to what we were exactaly looking for in a car. After taking the car for a test drive we knew that was what we wanted. A highly required quality for any salesman. I went to trade in my car and planned on purchasing a Used Car. After looking through the lot, and the great sellection of cars, I ended up getting excellent financing and drove off in a beautiful, 2012, NEW Toyota Corolla...which I absolutely LOVE!! Vehicle purchased in need of a majior $300 dollar service in order to maintain warranty offered, the question was asked to both and never recieved response until the sale was done, so I was told 1500 miles s in order to maintain warranty offered, the question was asked to both and never recieved response until the sale was done, so I was told 1500 miles short of majior work does not qualify, So beware purchasing used vehicles with life time warranty, it will cost you! Poor-Poor-Poor availabilty of sales staff after papers are signed. My advice look before you leap! More
This dealer offered a decent Internet quote on a new car, while other Toyota dealers in the area refused to offer a quote or else offered nonsense quotes. I have also had my pickup serviced at this dealer and they did a good job--very professional and reasonably priced. More
We've bought three Camry's from the folks at Thomas now. There's a reason we keep going back. This time they were our first stop and we made trips to three other dealers trying to beat Thomas' initial offer There's a reason we keep going back. This time they were our first stop and we made trips to three other dealers trying to beat Thomas' initial offer but couldn't. Our experience with salesman Donnie McGaugy was a very pleasant one. He followed up our visit with a phone call and then left us alone to consider our purchase, which we appreciated. When we returned to make a final offer, he and the sales managers were willing to work with us and we made what we considered a very fair deal for our Camry. We'll definitely be returning to Thomas when we're in the market for another Toyota. More
