Not only were we completely satisfied with the deal itself but more so the way we were treated. We have been to six dealers for the same car. Every deal got changed as we progressed. Tammy made us an offer an stuck to it. We were so content with the experience that we asked about trading in my Jetta and she was able to match our first deal. Within one week we had bought two new Jettas. No hard sell, no pressure, just honesty. We traveled many hours to do this and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Tammy was pleasant, professional, easy to deal with and straightforward. We easily found a price that worked for both of us, and set a pickup for the next Thursday. We arrived to find a clean and shined car sitting inside with all the paperwork ready. Tammy went for a ride with our son to be sure everything was OK with the car before we signed for it. The whole experience was a welcome change from some of the high pressure sales experiences we have had in the past. I highly recommend talking to Tammy if you are looking for a VW, new or used. I don't think you can find a better person to deal with. More

Avoid this dealership I purchased a used car at VW of Kingston at the end of January. Within the first week of having the car I experienced: emissions failure due to a cut I purchased a used car at VW of Kingston at the end of January. Within the first week of having the car I experienced: emissions failure due to a cut wire, oil consumption problem causing me to refill the oil 3 times, leak in the water pump and a problem with the ignition switch. My car has been receiving service at a separate dealership for 3 weeks. VW has been trying in every way possible to evade responsibility for the costs of these repairs. They are refusing to pay for the cut wire despite this being a PRE-EXISTING condition which is clearly listed under the warranty. On top of that, the GM has failed to return my call after 4 attempts. In addition, a separate manager by the name of Chris Vitellaro utilized his opportunity to discuss these issues with me as a time to be rude and offensive stating, "this isn't Walmart where you can just return a toaster, haven't you ever even bought a car before?" Yes Chris, I have purchased cars before. And no, this isn't a toaster, it's an extremely expensive automobile which you sold to me defective. In purchasing a car for a dealership I assume the dealership is trustworthy and reputable which VW is proving not to be. I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I not only plan to complete these reviews but to also contact the NY State Attorney General to make him aware of the lack of service and mistreatment at this dealership. More
