I have been dealing with Roger Beasley Mazda Central now for more than 10 years and was in yesterday to finalize a purchase of my fourth vehicle from them, a 2025 CX-90. The initial visit was very posit for more than 10 years and was in yesterday to finalize a purchase of my fourth vehicle from them, a 2025 CX-90. The initial visit was very positive, we worked with Mario - I let them know right up front that I wasn't looking to purchase that day, and we had a great, low-pressure talk through trims and colors with my wife and daughter, followed by a test drive. After narrowing down exactly the color and trim we wanted, I let them know the timeframe I was looking to make a purchase in, what my trade-in vehicle would be, and that I would reach out closer to that time to schedule a sale. After scheduling an appointment for Saturday the 15th, my situation at work changed and I was able to take Friday off and handle the car deal early, hoping to have it home for my wife on Valentine's Day. I took care of the trade-in on my own, hoping that would get the deal done even faster. When I got to the dealership, they connected me with Michael (whose last name I did not catch but has an adorable baby girl), who would shepherd me through the rest of the process. Finance application - there was a system outage somewhere in the credit application process that had them not seeing any credit come back - this led to a series of very frustrating and confusing calls with Experian, Equifax and Transunion, trying to see if there was a freeze on my credit. There are no humans in the loop at any of these companies and at the end, my credit was not frozen, the issue was an internal system, and I wasted a half hour of anger and frustration on a problem that wasn't mine. This was a real mar on an otherwise excellent sales process. Once that issue was settled, I had a fine discussion with Jesse Simms in finance with regard to loan terms and extra warranty options. No surprises here, but for some reason did not include the title application in the paperwork for me to sign - I discovered this while taking care of updating my insurance and asking Jesse for the lender's address, which was supposed to be on the form I didn't get (:P) Lastly, the deal closed somewhere after 3pm and I didn't have the car in hand until probably 4:30 - not sure what kept the detailers, but the final delivery was great....except the gas tank was empty. Michael took care of that immediately and apologized for the oversight. Love the car, all-in-all I am happy and my wife got a great valentine's present. Always a few little things in the process that can improve, and I know that as Mazda is looking to move upscale and capture more of the luxury market that the small details with the dealers will be a big part of that brand perception.
