I strongly recommend to anyone planning to do business with Rodman that they do their research beforehand and read the reviews for this dealer. Rodman has extremely poor customer service and does business in a very unprofessional manner, to the point where I had to open up a Better Business Bureau claim against them. I purchased a used vehicle from them at the beginning of the year. Onsite, the sale and trade in went fine. The salesperson took took care of VIN check and registration and offered to drop the car off at my home. Since it was an out of state transaction, I was told that I would need to take care of the inspection, but that I would be reimbursed for cost (the bill of purchase actually shows that I paid for state registration, VIN check, AND state inspection). After the vehicle was dropped off, I noticed several large chips in my windshield. I also noticed that I was not provided with the wheel lock key for my spare. I immediately contacted the salesperson who acknowledged the chips. He told me that he would contact the previous owner for the key and would look into seeing what could be done about the windshield. A week went by and finally the manager contacted me to say that the dealer wouldn’t replace the windshield because it wasn’t legally necessary (the chips “were not in the line of site”) and because it was not mentioned at the time of sale (even though he agreed they were not present at the time of sale). I expressed my thoughts at which point the manager got heated and hung up on me. In addition, I didn’t hear anything back regarding the inspection compensation or the wheel lock key. I had to open up a BBB claim in order to hear back from the owner, who basically accused me of being at fault for the windshield, but told me he would comp me for the inspection and the cost of wheel locks (not considering the fact that I had to pay someone to remove them from the vehicle). It wasn’t the best resolution but I was fine just ending it at that point and moving on. After driving around for a few weeks, I noticed the steering was off so I took it in to another dealer to get checked and was told there was an open recall to replace the steering dampener. So Rodman didn’t even take care of that either. It seemed like they were done with me as soon as the deal was made, and they felt no responsibility to take care of any of the issues that were handed to me. This is just not good business. More

Great folks at Rodman Ford. They were very helpful They gave me a excellent trade in price for my old truck and a great price for my new Ford f150 truck. Have used rodman for about 30 years. Satisfied with Sales. Service has deteriorated in the past couple of years. Recent service for F-150 took 5 weeks to schedule (replace passenger side mirror-which we had). Recall for Escape also took 5 weeks to schedule after I was notified parts we available. Recently Escape intermittently would not start. Could not get it seen right away. Diagnostics did not identify issue, but battery cable loose at car side. Hopefully tightening solved issue. Personnel were pleasant. I will probably replace the Escape this year and am considering going elsewhere due to Service Dept. issues. More

This was the most painless car purchase I have ever made. Completed in the in the least amount of time. They even delivered the truck to our town hall as this was an out of state purchase.
