This is the 4th day and my 4th attempt to speak with someone regarding my car. Up to this point I have heard from no one. My vehicle identification number is. 1FMCU9J97NUA83439. The media is saying that the Ford Escape has safety issues related to fire.I would like to know if it is safe to drive or even park in my garage. I have not received a recall notice and my telephone calls to the dealership have gone on answered. I’m simply left on hold until I give up and hang up. 1.Is there currently a recall on this vehicle? 2.How long will it take to service? 3. If it is for an extended period of time, will the dealership be supplying a loaner car? My second issue relates to the paint preservative on the vehicle. I was told there would be a schedule set up and it would be brought in periodically.Since it’s purchase date I have heard nothing. I would appreciate hearing information on both of these issues. More
I went in for an oil change yesterday when I left something felt odd. Half way home I looked at the air pressure in my tires . The left side was set to 63 & 64 psi and the right 44&43 psi . Luckily I something felt odd. Half way home I looked at the air pressure in my tires . The left side was set to 63 & 64 psi and the right 44&43 psi . Luckily I didn’t take the freeway home and didn’t have a blown tire on the freeway. Once I got home I had to let out lots of air . The technician wrote he set the tires to 43 psi on all 4 tires but don’t believe that . Attention to detail ! I hope the Quick Lane Service will look into the calibration of the air hose gauge. This is the second time this has happened to me with the air pressure. More
