Just recently had oil changed at another facility and they found extreme case of mold on my air conditioning filter, the guy who changed it told me it had to have been like that for at least 2 years due to the amount of mold build up. So beware of this place again, still finding problems they overlooked when they were supposed to have done maintenance on my car around 8 months ago. More

I called them two weeks ago to schedule an appointment for an oil change and maintenance, they told me the price was less than $30. After going to my appointment I received a bill for over $50 for an oil change and "maintenance". The maintenance report showed the car has no problems, although my car has been diagnosed at other companies with major problems (alternator going bad, two parts going bad under both front tires, front brakes need to be changed). Not to mention that the front light was not working during the time of the inspection, they did not even report the bad light on the maintenance report. When I brought this up to customer service manager today, he obviously did not care about my concerns simply stating "I'll take care of it". I am not sure how he was going to take care of it as he did nothing for while I was there today and did not provide me with any further instructions regarding the situation. Very poor customer service, If anyone wants any additional information about this to support my claims feel free to email me, I have my report from this company today and I have reports when I had the tires changed around a year ago when they noticed the broken parts under both front tires. The parts were not changed, yet this failed to flag on the maintenance report today. More

I was met by Justin, one of your service personnel. I must say, since my last visit to your dealership, he was the most person I have ever encountered there......and he tried to save me money because he thought we could the shell rather buying the complete FOB. Although I had to buy a complete FOB, I appreciate very much him trying to save me money! I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE BEFORE!!! BUT, I also must say that before I left, EVERYONE I encountered, including Mike in parts department and the ladies where I paid for the FOB, were ALL PLEASANT, CHEERFUL, AND VERY WILLING TO HELP. Don't know what you have done since my last visit, BUT IT IS A GREAT IMPROVEMENT! KEEP IT UP!!! Thanks, again, Justin! Barbara Johnson More
Hands down the WORST service department I have ever been to Took my Equinox here due to nails in two tires. The next day I called to check on my vehicle and the service person was less than helpful with a 'could careless attitude'. Finally found out that my tires where fixed but their wheel balance machine was broke (not their fault.) They said the machine would be fixed the next day and to leave my vehicle if I didn't need it. I called back the next day to check on my vehicle and it was not ready since their machine was still broke. I needed the vehicle so I picked it up after hours. When I picked it up I noticed my rim had been damaged while there. I took the vehicle back a week later to have the two tires balanced and the damaged rim looked at. I called the next day to check on the vehicle and once again was met with the less than helpful could careless attitude of the service person. He finally told me that my vehicle was being looked at. I asked about the damaged rim and he said they would look at it. I paid for the vehicle over the phone ($50) since I was at work. I asked to speak with the service manager or any manager but he said they had all left for the day (4pm). When I picked my vehicle up later that evening the damaged rim was still there with no explanation. I would not recommend this service department. More

Every single person mentioned is absolutely wonderful!! My Malibu LTZ was in to have a recall addressed & to have the LOF done... All matters promptly completed. While waiting, I visited with Mark (Shop Foreman), Rick (Body Shop Manager), Jay (Sales Associate), and Fred (Sales Manager). All Great People. If you do NOT FEEL LIKE FAMILY after leaving Rod Hatfield Chevy, IT'S YOU... DEFINITELY NOT THE STAFF... People Make The Difference!!!!! What Else Can I Say???? Check out for yourself Rod Hatfield Chevrolet!! P.S. - I have read the "complainers" on the dealership site... If you don't say something, while you're there, how can someone address your concerns? I am under warranty and every time I take my car in for service the service department acts as if I'm not covered. My car still jerks, my headlight continues to get moisture in it, never give me a loaner when I take my car in for service(I have a warranty), my key is broke they still haven't replaced it. I have been treated really bad at this place so bad that I never want to deal with the again. They tried to charge me for an oil change when I'm covered under warranty. It took me 2hrs to get them to finally see that I'm covered. This place sucks! More

Brandon (Service Advisor), Ray (Parts), Jeremy (Service Technician), and Erica (Cashier) are wonderful people!! PEOPLE REALLY DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! I'll be seeing these folks again tomorrow, as the one of the service techs will be installing a GM/Kicker amplified subwoofer in my Camaro SS... More

I had the indicator light come on for the tire inflation on my 2010 Equinox. I tried to resolve it myself and when I wasn't successful I stopped by the dealership. Service was closed but John was inside and I hoped he open the door and give me a clue to what was wrong. I had to drive a long distance the next day and wanted to be sure there wasn't a big problem and I could make my trip. Not only did John explained why I was dealing with the problem he even treated me like a sister and fixed it for me right away. He went above and beyond what I expected him to do especially since the service department was closed. Patient and Kind and better than a Hot Fudge Sundae. Thanks John!!!! More
I took my corvette to this dealership a couple of years ago for a radiator flush. They blew the radiator & water pump. They then replaced those parts with cheap aftermarket pieces, but charged me for genuine GM parts, even though they were cheap aftermarket junk. I called their bluff on that dishonesty , posting it on another consumer website. Unfortunately, my car's computer recently went bad, and hatfield's thieves are the only chevy dealership near me. So, I once again had to make an appointment with them for this new problem. The service manager on duty at the time gladly set up the appointment for the next monday morning. However, when I arrived for this appointment, the manager on duty was Darvin, the man who originally ripped me off the first time around. He actually met me at the door and refused to work on my car, using the fact that I spoke out against their dishonesty as the excuse not to do the work. I asked him why he was acting like this and his reply was " You said enough on the internet, didn't you ?" He behaved like an upset teenager, totally unprofessional ! As if I had no right to speak up & expose their dishonesty. His outburst was actually a blessing in disguise. I found a private, corvette only, mechanic with 40 years experience to do the work. I cannot say this enough, the people at rod hatfield's service department are CROOKS !! If you care about being treated right & as a valued customer, STAY AWAY FROM ROD HATFIELD CHEVROLET !!! More
