I purchased new rotors and brake pads. I was never given any "options" just given a price tag. I was told my brakes had less than 30% life to them. Plus they were beginning to squeal. After waiting months, they were finally replaced. Within weeks, I noticed the squeal sound was still present. I ignored it thinking they needed time to "work in". At an oil change (and approximately 12 months from initial install)--I commented to the technician that my brakes still made noise when applying the brake. I was told maybe I got a bad set but they were still under warranty and I could order replacements. So--we did. Replacements came in and I was excited to finally be noise free. I was highly mistaken. Not only do my brakes still make noises when I stop...they are 100x worse and death defining squeal. It's EMBARRASSING how loud they are. They also had a hard grinding to them. I let weeks pass and went back in to the dealership. Where I was told it was all normal because I purchased "cheap" products. That there was nothing they could do. First of all, I was never given options on which products to purchase. Just given a price. Secondly, every time they have suggested something, I followed through and ultimately have made my problem significantly worse. Anyone that hears my car now asks me have I had my brakes checked recently....then I have to tell them they're technically "new". The service manager on duty advised that I wear my brakes down as much as possible and them come back in and buy the nicer ones. I've never dealt with something so ridiculous. I don't have money to just go buy different brakes because these sound like someone is screaming out on their death bed. PLUS---there are many cars on the road, I'm sure with the "cheaper brand" and no one sounds like my car when it's coming to a stop. My suggestion is that if you need service on your vehicle, you go absolutely anywhere else. I also went in--under warranty--- with my stabilitrak error code coming on and they said "we don't know". I now just deal with the error code coming on every single day. I'm curious if it's related to my poor brake job. Stay away. More

These guy were amazing to work with from the minute I stepped on the lot. Not one time did I feel pressure. I immediately felt like they were going to do all they could to help me get a truck with a payment that I needed. These guys knocked it out of the park immediately on the first set of numbers they gave me, being completely honest and transparent. No hours spent….When I had just spent 6 hours and two days at another dealer trying to make a deal it was a breathe of fresh air. Regardless if they have exactly what your looking for or not, stop in and give them the opportunity to find it if they don’t have it. I’m sure glad I did. More
I purchased a vehicle from ''Rod Hatfield'' used car factory in Nicholasville. After four days the radio, GPS, On Star, phone all quit working. I asked the dealer to help me out to get it fixed. They sent me to their dealership in Lexington and said, they would be able to help me out. They advised me that I would need to leave the vehicle 24 hours and it would cost $189 just to diagnose the problem. The next day they told me the problem and that it would cost $2,700 to fix it. When I asked if they could help with the cost, they first said no. After a few days of talking with them, they offered a 20% discount. I then checked with two other Cheverolet Dealers. Both offered to do the same repair for $1,700. After discussing the problem with several of their associates to find a solution, they assured me that there was no way that they could help me to fix the system unless I paid the $2,140. I left a very unsatisfied customer, but it didn't seem that it bothered them a bit that I was unsatisfied. More

These people have absolutely no respect for a customer after your hard earned money is taken.. I bought a brand new truck from Rod Hatfield Chevrolet, took it in for the first few services and then a reca after your hard earned money is taken.. After every single visit my truck came out with grease all over, on my leather, steering wheel, paint outside. After complaints hardly even a raised eyebrow! Took it back again for shuttering and they said I need a new transmission, over 5k. They got their money from the warranty company, but I still don't have my truck after 6 weeks of waiting and thousands lost because " We don't do loaners at Rod Hatfield". No, but you'll sure milk every penny and every hour you can out of your customer though. More

Had to give 1 star to rate this dealer. That’s one star to many. Had some service work done several months ago. Was $1500 seemed high but they got the work done and got me back on the road. They diagnose it said it would be $5,180.00! OMG. Several people said take to another dealer because they had heard bad things about rod Hatfield. I took to another reputable new GMC dealer. They diagnosed it and said it would be $2,900.00 WHO can you trust? More
