I had a good experience trading in my vehicle and purchasing a used one. The only negative was the length of time it took in negotiating and paperwork. service was reluctant to take my car in next day thought it needed to be jump started 2 days in a row. Was dropped off 1030AM wited 40 min for shuttle ride home ( not an issue) bathroom was broken w 1 wo it needed to be jump started 2 days in a row. Was dropped off 1030AM wited 40 min for shuttle ride home ( not an issue) bathroom was broken w 1 working toilet and stream of employees heading in there not worth the wait. 4 PM no word called service to check on the car was told they would try to complete by day end, 510 PM call car wa not going to be done rental agency closed 10 min prior. Next day my car was completed however due to not getting rental till next morning could not get to dealership till 8 PM, keys to my car not with cashier. Left a message for the General Manger to call which was not returned by end of business next day. Upon picking my vehicle up the following day I was given the keys to a car that was not mine. This was the 6 th warranty service visit on my 2013 ESCAPE in 12 months. 2 for possible fire recalls, 2 to reprogram the computer 1 window regulator and a battery failure. This is the first Ford product I have driven possibly my last. While the staff was friendly I was not impressed by the overall experience. It is nice to do business with a dealership that does not treat the customer like a walking ATM machine. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly and fairly throughout the new car purchase process. I bought a 2013 Mustang on this occasion, and am very happy with the price and the purchase experience. I have had previous dealings with the service and parts department here. I have always found them to be exceptional, especially when compared with other dealerships. As a Ford Racing Dealership, they not only deal with the everyday car/truck, but also high performance products. As such, their mechanics are a cut above the rest and very methodical and professional. I have always had prompt courteous service, but, more importantly, I have always had my car fixed right the first time, as well as on time, and under the estimate. If you have to travel far to get here and need to leave the car, they won't leave you stranded; you will get a loaner. All in all, a great place. I wish all dealers were like this one so I did not have to drive 45 miles to get here. More

I did a significant amount of on-line research prior to making my purchase. We looked at several cars at various dealerships and test drove a few. We knew we wanted a Ford Escape, used to replace the one making my purchase. We looked at several cars at various dealerships and test drove a few. We knew we wanted a Ford Escape, used to replace the one my son had totaled. At Rod Baker Ford, we weren't pressured to purchase a car. Rob listened to us, showed us what we were interested in. We told him we had one more stop to make to look at another Escape at CarMax, Rob did an outstanding job of educating us on what to be aware of, price, the low financing rate that Ford was offering and the Certified Used Car warranty. We looked at the other Escape and decided based on how Rob worked with us we were getting the better deal at Rod Baker, I called Rob after leaving CarMax and told him we would be in around 2PM the next day to purchase the Escape, which we did. Some of the other dealerships we went to acted as if we really didn't want to buy and we felt like they didn't really want to listen to what we wanted. Thank you and we will be back. Not only did they provide honest feedback to candid questions, but were very honest about finding a car that was right for my needs, even when it would have been easier to sell me a car that wasn't what I was looking for. I got a great price, APR, and vehicle and am happy with my purchase. The used vehicle I bought had some issues with it that my mechanic found before I signed the papers, and they did all the work free of charge. The entire process was so simple. As long as you get the vehicles checked out by a trusted third-party mechanic to ensure there are no problems, I highly recommend this dealership. More

Since my family and I have bought several cars from this dealer before, they know us on a first name basis and i appreciated the great level of friendliness and I have a lot of trust in the dealership.
