Had an amazing experience buying my 2016 fusion from their over a year ago and have loved it ever since best car I have owned and with low miles I purchased the extended warranty knowing that there migh their over a year ago and have loved it ever since best car I have owned and with low miles I purchased the extended warranty knowing that there might some issues down the road and I rather not work on cars anymore with my bad knees and back. A few days before the 4th of July I had brought my car there for a concern. It had been billowing smoke from the exhaust on initial start up that last 6-8 seconds for the last few days, the car has never smoked or had any issues prior and has been maintained very well. I took it in and the service staff was amazing checked me in and gave a loaner car till they were able to look at the car. Two days later they had completed thier inspection and according to thier trained technician the smoke billowing from my car was normal and was supposed to be that way. I have been around cars all my life and worked on cars for years and currently work at another dealership, so I know a thing or two about how cars should operate. I had them keep the car for another day and they came back with the same answer. So out of frustration I took my car back,now with a scratch on the passenger rear door for some reason, and left before my frustration got the best of me. Few days later I made an appointment at the other ford dealership in the area and within the day they were able to determine that I needed a new short block cause coolant was seeping in cause my spark plugs to be coated in coolant and consuming my coolant from my tank without leaving and leaks on the ground. Im just surprised that the dealership I bought my car from couldn't find the issue and just dismissed it as being normal when at the end it wasn't normal and could have lead to bigger issue if I had let go for a longer time. My extended warranty has covered the work for a new short block and will be done in a few days. Again im just so disappointed that i had to go to another dealership to get it checked right, just makes me wonder how many other people they have dissmissed series issues to being something normal the car should do. More

The only advice would give is that for a customer coming from out of town, research on the vehicle being purchased should be completed by the sales staff before arriving to complete the purchase. Again, overall good experience and would recommend. More

I already had an appointment with another dealer to purchase a F150. I stopped by Rod Baker Ford since it's on the way and wanted to know if they can beat the out the door price I had for the packages purchase a F150. They did so fairly quickly by removing dealer options I did not want. The entire process went smoothly. I did have to go back because the tie down cleats were missing in my truck, but they got those to me quickly. More
