I am a young female and I purchased my first car from Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers, which was a very exciting experience. Luckily I love the car that I am driving, but my dad and I have taken a lot of mis Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers, which was a very exciting experience. Luckily I love the car that I am driving, but my dad and I have taken a lot of mistreating from the staff. Exactly a week after I bought my car it died when I tried to start it, completely dead. It happened again the next day, so I took it into O'Reilly's to get the battery checked, which was fine, but could not get an alternator reading. I called the dealership the next day and basically all I got was the run around about how they wanted me to fix it myself. My dad then calls them and tries to get help , but received the same result. I had to personally take my car in for anything to get fixed, it was just a loose terminal. It just sucks to have such bad customer service a week after I bought the car, they do not stand behind their product and do not care to help you fix the problem. Can guarantee I will not be going back. More
This company doesn't care about it's customers. Once the deal is done, you are on your own. I made the mistake of buying two cars from them within a week. This first one I had to rescue 3 times in the f deal is done, you are on your own. I made the mistake of buying two cars from them within a week. This first one I had to rescue 3 times in the first week as it wouldn't start. Their answer - you have a warranty, take it in and get it fixed. Basically, no longer their problem. The second problem occurred when there was an odometer discrepancy on the Car fax, to the tune of 20K miles. The difference between a vehicle with 100k and less than 100k. Their claim - clerical error - Right? Customer service starts at the lot. They'll promise you trust and the truth, but won't deliver on the back end. In the end it was just another business deal. Adds a whole new meaning to "AS IS", from a dealership no less. Lies, shaddy deals, dead promises - are the order of the day for this company. Stay away from them. More
The vehicle was as listed no surprises, the salesman was helpful, to the point with no pressure. The Shop was clean, the attendants polite. They seem to have quality vehicles on the lot. I lost my leg in combat, and I was given a grant from the VA to purchase a new vehicle. The finance department at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers assured me that they knew how the paper work worked. Obviously, they did not. I was denied the grant because they made me finance the car. (I know I am approved for the loan because I bought a different car from a different dealership recently.) But because they did not do the paperwork correctly, like they said they knew how to, I did not get the car. Also, after putting about 700 miles on the car, I took it to a dealership to have it serviced. That is when I found out that the car needed $5,000 worth of work done to it. They also told me that the service contract I purchased could not be cancelled. I called the company that the contract is through, and I am cancelling it in when the paperwork gets to my house. So the staff lied about that. I am sorry that the workers at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers feel it is necessary to lie to customers and sell vehicles that are unsafe to be driven. Just like other dealerships, these people are out there to make a sale, and that’s it, they do not care about their customers. Oh, and if you have to reach management, good luck! More
I haven't purchase a car in a long time because I just hate dealing with people that are untrust worthy and not up front with me. I have been around the block once or twice so I know when someone is tryin hate dealing with people that are untrust worthy and not up front with me. I have been around the block once or twice so I know when someone is trying to take advantage of me. I came into Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers looking for an automobile and I had the opportunity to meet Quentin Burgess let me first start by saying that I have seen online some of the worst storys about this sales person. I was hoping at first not to get him but to my surprise this was the best sales experience I have ever had. My financing went through my local credit union not only were they able to match the rate, they actually lowered my rate through my credit union. Mr. Burgess was very knowledgeable, very professional with excellent customer service. He was never pushy and I was able to think about everything overnight and did the deal the next morning. They had everything ready it was in and out process that took less then 20 minutes when I drove off with my new car. I would always recommend if you have the opportunity to work with any sales person there; work with Quentin Burgess. More
Terrible experience. Saw a car on the weekend, went home, did research and thought about it. Called Monday and made an offer of $9500 and was told they were very close to that number and that I should come i did research and thought about it. Called Monday and made an offer of $9500 and was told they were very close to that number and that I should come in to buy. As we were located 65 miles away, we scheduled an appointment for the next day. When we arrived we were told that the best they could do was $2500 more than we offered on the phone. I don't know in what universe $2500 is ,very close' to a $9500 offer. They kept us waiting while they all huddled in an office and were offensive in general. Although they have a right to make as much profit as they can, they lied to us on the phone, wasted our time and used every typical sleazy used car salesman trick in the book. Apparantly they have enormous overhead that they tack on to each car so you will pay more here. If you are considering this dealer do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere first. Also be careful of personal information that you give to them. They ask that you sign and initial forms in the negotiating process which may give them access to your credit report even if you don't want to finance through them. CAUTION!!! More
I saw a car posted on craigslist that I decided to respond to. I sent them a low offer on the car and instead of declining the offer politely I was called a crook and a thief. I can tell you I wil respond to. I sent them a low offer on the car and instead of declining the offer politely I was called a crook and a thief. I can tell you I will never deal with Rocky Mountain Auto brokers fro any of my vehicle needs in the future. Especially with salesmen like Quentin Burgess employed. More
