Manipulative and dishonest After 3 hours of speaking and thinking your getting all honest responses and agreeing on a price. I get manipulated into a all of a sudden changed monthly price increase of $70! Started crying because they had already switched the registration and insurance under my new vehicle and had told me the increase of the price was due to a misquote. It’s only been 48 hours and still no resolution after visiting the store to resolve this major issue. This guy really tried every way to get another dollar in commission off of me after being told I’m a single mother of three and need to stay under my $450 budget he took full advantage. More

To that end Aaron was great - A soft spoken Mr. nice guy. Thanks Aaron. Truth be told, I could have paid $200-$250 less at two dealers who immediately quoted me (I confirmed on phone) “no bull” prices. But over 3 weeks I just couldn’t find the time to drive down with a co-driver to pick up the car. A North Jersey resident, I was getting an out of state dealer car and chose to do all the DMV headaches in NJ myself. I didn't ask Rockland Hyundai but they helped me by filling in all necessary NJ DMV forms and overnighting them. Thanks guys. That’s professional. I found Hyundai's online inventory and shopper assurance tool useful in sending quote requests to 10/12 dealers in 150 mail radius. Most kept sending fluff boiler plate automated responses but 2 came back immediately with bottom line very good prices. More

This letter is officially to inform you how disappointed I am with your dealership and your brand, let me tell you the story on how I will never buy and will never let anyone that I know buy a Hyundai ever again. Rockland Hyundai sold me a 2016 Subaru Legacy with a little over 71,000 miles for $15,000. I liked the car and saw some small imperfections with it, these imperfections are normal on a used car and I agree to buy it. The carfax that I was shown on the computer but not printed only showed one accident on the front passenger side and no more. Here is where the problems began. The very next day I notice that the car vibrates and makes a shaking noise when just over 1,000 RPM, the belt from the engine makes a squeaky noise, the trunk door does not close properly, water is getting inside the trunk, passenger side doors don't align, noise coming from the dashboard, These are things that can not be determined by just test driving the car. These issues have been confirmed by two other third-party repair shops other than Rockland Hyundai. The treatment that I received by the Sales Manager Tristan and the service advisors Albert and Chris are just jaw-dropping on how terrible it was. First. Albert, when I showed up for my booked appointment in advice, told me that he did not have the time or the people to look at the car after loudly explaining that I left my job early to be there then, he finally got in the car with me and the told me the vibration issue is normal. Second, Tristan George talked to me while texting on his phone and told that I was lucky he was even talking to me because he has nothing to do with the service department. I offer to purchase a more expensive car if they took the car back. Tristan was texting the entire time, after telling him to give me his attention instead of his phone he got angry and did not want to talk to me from then on. Third, Chris told we will look at the issue on Tuesday 01/22/19 when I got there he was just so inconvenience because I asked him to come outside and see the issues. Chris told me that they will fix the leak in the trunk and the belt and they will look into the other things. I picked up the car today 01/29/19 and the only thing that they did was change the engine belt, water still gets into the trunk, the passenger side doors don't align, the noise from the dashboard still there, and I was told once again the vibration noise is normal. I took the car to a body shop that estimated over $3,700 in damage, and the dealer tells me is normal. I have never felt so disrespected as I have inside the Rockland Hyundai dealership. The only people that tried to help me where the salesman Humberto. I will follow up on this case with other agencies, I was lied to and dismissed like I had no value after the sale was done, maybe if I was white and not Hispanic the treatment would have been different. More

I didn’t feel pressured by him so I called him; he was very personable and didn’t pressure me with a lot of stuff - he listened to my questions and answered them which led me to purchase my car from him the day after I met him at his dealership! He gave me his cell number and said if I ever had a question, to call! To this day, if I have a question, he calls me right back and helps me solve any question or issue I might have! Rockland Hyundai is lucky to have Javier! More
