The Service Dept is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!! After buying my Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 years ago and MULTIPLE engine issues, which one supposedly was NOT covered by warrant, I ended up trading car back to them for Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 years ago and MULTIPLE engine issues, which one supposedly was NOT covered by warrant, I ended up trading car back to them for a Dodge Durango. I only did so because I was desperate to get rid of car because it was having ANOTHER engine issue that i had fixed and paid for just a year ago. So after driving my new “Certified” Dodge, just 4 days later “Service Shifter” comes on the screen!! I couldnt even get an appointment until a week later!! this dealership, Im convinced, do NOT care about taking care and thoroughly inspecting their vehicles before selling. Lastly, I can go on forever about how the service manager is of no use and is not looking to satisfy the customer. Being a loyal customer and bringing in your car to service there means absolutely nothing, when I had an issue with how they handled my warranty on my Jeep, he shut me down and didnt even offer another form of trying to help/suggest....and God help us if you are trying to contact the service department , THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE. I dont know how that manager still has a job!!! More

My service experience was awful. I made an appointment for this past Tuesday. When I spoke to the lady I stated that I have a 3 month old infant and would like to be given a time where it is not busy. She for this past Tuesday. When I spoke to the lady I stated that I have a 3 month old infant and would like to be given a time where it is not busy. She stated that they weren’t busy that day and not to worry. I arrived To my oil change on time and was told there was a 3 hour wait. I explained how when I made the Appointment I was assured it was not busy at this time and that I have a 3 month old who wouldn’t cooperate and also I did not feel comfortable exposing him to people for that long as we are in the middle of a pandemic and that I drove 45 minutes to have my car serviced here! The service worker was so kind and got the manager and he said come back another time. I explained again my concerns about my sons safety to which he replied “well the wait is 3 hours I can’t help you if you want to wait you can, I have a waiting room PACKED full of people before you” how could one be so insensitive to my infant and his safety? For a simple Quick oil change? In normal circumstances I wouldn’t be so upset, however during a pandemic there were no Breaks given for a new mom and infant. I am appalled at my experience and now will likely never return for any type of service for my Jeep Grand Cherokee in the future once my free oil changes are used up. More
Came here to pickup some parts for my Jeep. As I am standing at the counter waiting I witnessed through the doorway into the back room an employee going off about the protests that have been going on. standing at the counter waiting I witnessed through the doorway into the back room an employee going off about the protests that have been going on. He was standing there waiving his arms repeatedly using the N-word and profanity. With everything going on in the world right now...seriously? I found it highly offensive, unprofessional and extremely disgraceful. I did not feel comfortable at all standing at that counter waiting for my parts and just wanted to get out of there. When I got home I went on the company website to see if I could find who the employee was. It was the parts manager Ed Kennedy. I’ve tried multiple times trying to contact the dealers owner about it but always get the runaround, some general voicemail box or conveniently disconnected. Whoever owns this dealership seems to be absent or just doesn’t care at all. I am appalled they would let this happen let alone from someone in a management position! It makes me sick to my stomach the more I think about it. I felt so uncomfortable I never want to set foot in this place again! Next time I need parts or anything for my Jeep I will gladly drive the extra half hour to Jersey More

My daughters car went in for service on 10/25 and they did her normal service (oil change etc) they replaced the tires as they said they needed to be changed and also did a wheel alignment. We got the car back and it started to pull so I guess the wheel alignment wasn't done or was done incorrectly (Charge $ 1,328). We brought it back just a couple of weeks later as she noticed her transmission was not shifting right. That was covered that repair under warranty (total cost $ 108) but they found other thing wrong with her car less than a month later!! They said her radiator was leaking and that need to be replaced as well as all of the hoses and we needed to do a tuneup and they said that a wire was eaten by a rodent so that needed to be replaced as well (Total cost $ 1,834). I will never ever go to this dealership ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm done with Dodge Jeep Ram in Nanuet. More

Thieves and liars Took my car to rockland cjdr because of a faulty sunroof gasket. I thought it would have been covered by my aftermarket warranty. It wasn’t. Not the d Took my car to rockland cjdr because of a faulty sunroof gasket. I thought it would have been covered by my aftermarket warranty. It wasn’t. Not the dealership’s fault. However, they would not release my car to me unless I paid a $150 “diagnostic fee”, which I was not told about when I dropped it off . They didn’t diagnose anything since I told them the problem. They didn’t do anything to my car. No technician or mechanic touched it. On top of this, they are liars. They tried to sell me on an over $800 job, claiming I’d have to replace the entire glass because the gasket isn’t sold separately. I googled 2013 Dodge Durango sunroof gasket. You know what I found all over the place ? The gasket ! Sold separately ! So, not only are they thieves for holding my car hostage unless I paid a fee for them not doing anything, they are liars because they said I’d have to pay for a much more expensive job than necessary. Avoid this dealer at all costs. More
Immoral and unethical Whatever you do, please stay far away from this dealership. They are absolutely horrible. A year and a half ago, I bought a Jeep Renegade from them. Whatever you do, please stay far away from this dealership. They are absolutely horrible. A year and a half ago, I bought a Jeep Renegade from them. Within the first 2000 miles I started to have serious issues with the car - the RPM's would rev high but the car would not accelerate. When I brought the car in for service, the first repair they made was to replace the transmission. You do not replace a transmission on a brand new car with less than 2000 miles on it. If that is what needed to be done, the car should've been replaced. Replacing the transmission did not solve the problem. The RPM issue kept happening. Eventually I was told that it was a computer issue and the computer just needed an update. If that was the case, why were they so eager to replace the transmission? So they did the update, and the problem kept recurring. The bottom line is that they kept putting myself and my family back into a vehicle unsafe for the road. After the problem resurfacing multiple times, and their inability to properly diagnose and fix the problem, the car officially qualified as a lemon. Yet Chrysler refused to buy the car back, and Rockland Jeep refused to advocate on behalf of their loyal customer (the Renegade was the 2nd car I purchased form them). I needed to retain a lawyer and take them to arbitration. Still they refused to do the right thing. It was not until one day before the hearing that they finally agreed to take the car back and refund my money. Flash forward to this past week. On Saturday I brought my 2014 Jeep Patriot in to sell back to the dealer (they had contacted me a few times to purchase my vehicle). We settled on a price and I was told to come back in on Monday with the title and they would cut me a check. When I arrived on Monday afternoon, we began the paperwork. After almost an hour, they informed me that I needed a lien release letter. Why did they not tell me that I needed that on Saturday? Because the people there are incompetent!! Finally, I had to make the suggestion that we should call Wells Fargo and have them fax over the letter. These people buy back cars every day and they couldn't figure that out! They couldn't even figure out the right phone number to dial to call Wells Fargo. Once we were on hold, the saleswoman (Shannon) that was helping me told me that she was going to leave me with another saleswoman because she had other customers to help. What kind of customer service is that? You do not leave a customer that you are helping to assist other customers!!!! After almost an hour and a half, and this still not being resolved, I began to lose my patience. I demanded my keys and title back, and I told them that I would get the letter and be back on Tuesday. At this point, because I was a bit aggravated, the sales manager, Ed Vega, came over and told me to bring the letter in and "they would consider buying back my car". So after I patiently waited almost an hour and a half, the sales managers response to my frustration was to threaten me to nullify the deal that we had already agree to. When I showed him that I had signed paperwork that amounted to a legal contract, he basically shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I did go back on Tuesday and they did complete the buyback. They really had no choice since I had a signed contract, but the fact that they threatened me to cancel a deal (in which there was a signed contract) because I was frustrated by their incompetence shows that they are an unprofessional, immoral, and unethical dealership. I should add that because I had to return to them on Tuesday, I had to cancel my appointment for that afternoon, which caused me to lose out the non-refundable money that was spent. If you live in the Rockland County area, and are interested in buying or leasing a Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge/Ram, do yourself a huge favor and stay far away from here. Go to Ramsey, Goshen or Warwick for your car. I, for one, will never purchase another vehicle from Rockland Jeep!!!! More
