I understand your frustration with the fact that your vehicle received three different diagnoses. However, since the vehicle was brought to us in a no-start condition, it was difficult to immediately find the issues that were causing your vehicle to hard-start. We had hoped that our good faith gesture of offering you the starter and fuse panel at cost would make up for the multiple visits. Thank you for your feedback and review. Our establishment strives to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. We will continuously try to improve upon every aspect of our dealership. We take reviews such as this very seriously. As a result, we are highly rated on public forums, review sites, and through Chrysler's customer satisfaction index. Upon your arrival to our dealership you were promptly attended to and walked into the service department by an employee of Rockland CJD. There were a few customers who had arrived prior to you which did lead to a short wait time. You were assisted in the order which you had arrived. Mr. Nugent, you did inquire as to the availability of snow tires; however this inquiry was a few days prior to your visit. When you arrived the advisor did believe that the requested tires were in stock, however he did fail to verify this information. Once the distributor was contacted it was realized that this tire was on backorder. At this point you were contacted immediately and informed of the mistake and expedited shipping was offered for the tires that you had requested. We do sincerely apologize for this lack of communication. This is not a common occurrence within our dealership and we are sorry that it occurred. In order to ensure that the other part of your service request was completed properly and completely we did request to keep your vehicle for 1 extra day. I understand that you did not anticipate that this repair would take more than two hours and stated that this posed a problem for you. We did offer to obtain a loaner car for you and also to pay for this loaner for the duration of his repair. I personally contacted you and numerous attempts were made to discuss your feelings on the visit and apologize for the initial misunderstanding. In addition multiple accommodations were offered to you. We do not like when our customers are not 100% satisfied and happy with the experience they have received at our establishment. While we do admit to installing the wheel covers incorrectly and causing the customer to return to properly refit the wheel covers, we feel it is inappropriate for the customer to ask for a $1000 extended warranty policy to compensate for the inconvenience. The dealership expressed regrets, apologized profusely, and repaired at no charge, a very slight door ding at the very bottom of the driver’s side door. The reason why we know that the ding was not done here is because the particular lift that was used to service the vehicle does not have posts. Also, there is no lift adjacent to the left side of this lift. The vehicle was driven directly to the waiting customer after service and was not parked in our lot. Barry Fleischman Service Director
