Usually I have good service, recently stopped in for an oil change, with an appointment it took a little over an hour. was told that the service tech noticed battery acid leaking into my vents, never bothe oil change, with an appointment it took a little over an hour. was told that the service tech noticed battery acid leaking into my vents, never bothered to ask if I wanted a replacement or if they should pull it. I took it to Farm and Fleet and had them put in a new one while I went to dinner. Old battery had no leaks, wasn't bulging and seemed to be fine. Ended up costing me a couple hundred. More

Anderson Rock River Block performed excellent work in a short period of time without any appointment. Lori provided excellent courteous service in a quick period of time. Felt comfortable with Darrell I had occasion recently to bring my 2011 Edge into Rock River Ford for service. I needed the Radiator flushed. I know that the Edge with the 3.5 Durat I had occasion recently to bring my 2011 Edge into Rock River Ford for service. I needed the Radiator flushed. I know that the Edge with the 3.5 Duratec Engine calls for a particular Coolant. I asked Darrell about that. He said (Just a minute Dave,Lets talk to parts) He got the answer and explained to me why the Dark Green coolant is important for the complete health of the motor and especially the water pump. I asked him if he would have the mechanic give the whole underneath of my car a look over while it was on the hoist. That was done and the mechanic not only assured me that I the car was GOOD. I did need a left ball joint. I had that done the next day. The Mechanic not only told me the importance of using the dark green coolant but he gave me a bottle half full of it for my convenience Just in case in needed some later I was completely happy with the attention I got from Darrell and also his mechanic. I wish I had his name because he was great.. More

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! Went in for complimentary service and left with $300 worth of damage to vehicle! Would not take any responsibility for the damage claiming it was the previous service provide service and left with $300 worth of damage to vehicle! Would not take any responsibility for the damage claiming it was the previous service providers fault, when there wasn’t another previous service performed at the time. Now I cannot get another shop to perform maintenance to the vehicle until the issue is resolved because they do not want to be liable and it would void the warranty of any work performed. Working with them has been anything but a pleasure. More

I have dual heating/AC, and one side of the car is There is a BIG difference between dealership services offered in Chicago vs. a non-city dealership. I have dual heating/AC, and one side of the car is stuck on heat, the other on AC. However, the car is still hot. The first time this happened, I told the dealership where I bought the car about my Narcolepsy and intolerance for heat which will make me sleepy behind the wheel and can they PLEASE squeeze me in? The best they offered me was an appointment 7+ days away. Fortunately, it fixed itself prior to the appointment date. Fast forward a year or so later, I'm in Rockford, it happens again, told them the same thing and that I can't drive back to the city in a hot car, what did they do? Squeeze me in and they are just as busy!! Go figure. Not to mention, offered me a car (repeatedly) while I wait for repairs, which isn't offered at my dealership. Never again will I purchase a car in the city. It is consistently my experience that you always get the hood version of customer service. More
