I had just purchased a car for myself last month but my wife was also looking to get a new vehicle as well. We went in just to look at the Jeep Wrangler as it was her dream vehicle. We sat down and spoke at length with Casey and JT about our financial situation. They gave us a couple of options and we took a look at the VW Tiguan, an SUV I've only heard of by name. Took a ride in it and was pretty impressed, although it was a 2018 version. Ended up trading in our 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan that day and leased a 2018 VW Tiguan. A very smooth experience. They even threw in the first payment for the lease. We weren't prepared to get a new car... the intention was to visit and shop around, but they sealed the deal. Fantastic client relations, and that's what it's about for continued business. JT was very, very knowledgeable and helpful. He's been in the industry for years and knows a lot about vehicles in general and how they stack up against one another. Casey has a passion for VW and is also pretty knowledgeable about the VW lines. She can talk at length about each vehicle and their history. Everyone was very professional and amicable. Definitely would recommend. More

I had I went in for a 20,000 mile service this morning. The service manager had my paperwork ready for me to sign as soon as I came through the door. I had called earlier to ask the price of the service and he gave me a quote. He also said it would take about an hour to do the job. I sat in the waiting area, which was comfortable and clean. Within the hour, the service manager came and got me and said the service was done. The car was all good and ready to go. He took care of my coupons and the service was less than expected. The salesmen I bought the car from Chet in the end, but Scott and JT were super helpful all the way through the transaction. This dealership is a great place to buy a car. More
Above and Beyond! Due to unforeseen circumstances, my Wife and I were on an extremely time sensitive search for a very specific vehicle: a new(er) Blizzard Pearl White Due to unforeseen circumstances, my Wife and I were on an extremely time sensitive search for a very specific vehicle: a new(er) Blizzard Pearl White Toyota Prius. As it turned out, Volkswagen of Rochester had the exact car that we were in search of. On a Wednesday afternoon, we called to verify that it was still available, and ventured down from Maine. We arrived at the dealership roughly 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close. Even with our late arrival, we were not made to feel rushed at any point in the process. Chet Yung was the Representative that we worked with, and he was beyond helpful, from start to finish, and addressed every question/concern that we had; even though it was now 30 minutes past the time he was scheduled to leave for the evening. Keep in mind, this was not even a Volkswagen vehicle! Due to the late hour, financing was not available until the following day, so we placed a deposit and returned to Maine. Given that my Wife and I work completely opposite schedules, and we were currently down to a single vehicle, getting back down to Rochester proved to be near impossible. Two weeks went by, during which Chet maintained regular communication with me and assured me that we would make it happen soon. To make a long story short, Chet ended up going so far above and beyond any customer service that I have ever experienced; and I don't mean in the auto industry...I mean in any industry; ever. He arranged to have a fellow associate, Scot Kinville, follow him to our home in Maine on a Saturday, so that he could hand deliver our new Prius to our front door. My Wife works 7p-7a as a Nurse, so she was sleeping during this delivery. I signed my portion of the paperwork on the hood of the car, and was able to run upstairs and have her sign hers while barely waking her. I am still baffled, not only by the easy and fair purchase of our new vehicle, but even more by the way that Chet and Volkswagen of Rochester completely shattered my expectations of the car buying experience. Purchasing a vehicle from a dealership can often be a fairly unpleasant experience; this was the exact opposite. Thank you Chet, Scot, and Volkswagen of Rochester for making us 110% satisfied customers. I will never forget this experience, and plan to share it with anyone considering a vehicle purchase. More

They are passionate about cars...and are familiar with every brand, not just the brand they sell. In todays automotive world that feature is essential as the selection of autos and options available are vast. I purchased my 2015 Golf from these folks and my experinces in dealing with them has always been a pleasure. With far more auto purchases under my belt than most (80 and counting) ive dealt with many of NH' s best. Im very pleased i chose to purchase my VW from VW Of Rochester and would recommend them to my closest friends and family. In the future...no matter what vehicle i am looking for...my shopping will begin at VW of Rochester. If they dont have what Im looking for..im sure they can find one for me. They can help you find the perfect car too!...just ask. More
A experience I wont forget First car buying experience in a long time, and was prepared for the worst. I knew what I wanted going into the dealership and ironically enough they had a vehicle that fit my guidelines. Gary Bolduc did an exceptional job as a sales person, asking appropriate questions related to what I had explained I wanted. Skipping through all the paper work which went smooth ( why wouldnt it, a car is being sold) everything went well picked up the car later that afternoon and it was clean and ready to drive off the lot and was given a minimal dealership warranty, (2000 Miles) first month was good no issues 2nd month good, 3rd month approaching the 2000th mile the check engine light came on, brought it to dealer said it was low on oil topped it off, reset computer and was good to go. 5 months from then and less than 3 thousand miles later on my way back to the dealership from work because of the engine oil and check engine light being on, my car lay dead on the side of the road. 2007 Subaru Outback wagon. Got towed to dealership and come to find out I have a blown motor. After the team of mechanics look at it they tell me I have two choice- I spend 5,000.00 and buy the only motor they can find or I can get a new car. I chose to get a new car and have them pay off the Subaru which had less than 100K miles on it mind you. Here is what they did, put me in a 2006 Audi, higher insurance, more miles, and also a higher payment - I was basically stuck with this as they said this was my only option. Sales Manager JT, helped Gary finish all the paperwork, and again was off and running. 3 weeks after purchasing this had issues with the automatic window on the passenger side, which was a $300 charge, Brought it elsewhere and was charged half this. I am a mid thirtys male with little experience in car buying - If I was a more educated, more experienced consumer, my car buying experience would not have been the same and I am sure you can all agree. How do you have your engine blow in a car that is 8 months old, maintained as scheduled, and oil changed twice within the recommended 3000 miles with under 100k miles on a Subaru mind you - and then get put into a more expensive car as their doing me a favor? Am I missing something. Be weary friends! More
Steve knew of a TSB that had been released from VWoA the day before I called that extended the warranty of an emissions part, he was aware this was a common replacement part and quote me around $700 two mon day before I called that extended the warranty of an emissions part, he was aware this was a common replacement part and quote me around $700 two months ago to replace it. He was willing to schedule my appointment that week to replace the part under warranty. I was able to drop off the car and pick it up that afternoon hassle free. Dealerships shouldn't be about fancy corporate faces staying on the leading end of fads and style. I want a dealership that invests time and energy into doing what they are there for knowledgable service, quality work, and the attention to detail to the job correct the first time. I wish the new ownership all the best, and as long as they have a strong service department I'll be back. More
