Great First New Car Dealership I have never purchased a new car from a dealer having only purchased private sales. You can do the research and you will find Volkswagen of Rochester I have never purchased a new car from a dealer having only purchased private sales. You can do the research and you will find Volkswagen of Rochester with the best deals in the area. I went in after hearing from so many people that have experience with other Volkswagen dealerships. A family member had just purchase a Jetta from VW of Rochester. I was in the dealership at the time and planned on purchasing in the next few months. Katherine Wysocki approached me and asked if I wanted to do a test drive. I didn't have the time at that moment. She said she understood as I was driving another car for the family member. She gave me her card and was pleasant and helpful. I called at a more convenient time and scheduled a time for a test drive. I wanted to test drive a standard and they found a Jetta GLI. At the time of the test drive, she introduced me to Chet Yung. I was looking for a basic new Jetta. At the time, they didn't have one in stock. They offered the in stock GLI , but I was looking for a nice car with a better gas mileage. I declined and then worked very hard to get me my car. Chet searched for the car that I now have. He found it and went to procuring it for me. He was in contact with a status update every step of the way. I was expecting an ordered car to take two weeks. Because of snow, it took a week. This was beyond my expectation. While waiting for the car, they helped with financing and finding the best option. They also communicated with me about what was needed at the bank. At this point, Chet introduced me to Mike Holzman, VW of Rochester's Finance Manager. He was helpful in that he explained different options. He was also "no nonsense". Please note, this is something I look for when dealing with financing and money. I would recommend going to VW of Rochester to anyone looking for a new VW or to see good Customer Service. More

Outstanding customer care I was in the market for a very specific Jetta TDI sport wagon, that was nowhere to be found. I contacted Rochester VW and received a quick response fr I was in the market for a very specific Jetta TDI sport wagon, that was nowhere to be found. I contacted Rochester VW and received a quick response from Katherine W., requiring about my needs. I explained what I wanted, and she got back to me with the first set of suggestions, that didn't work for me, because I was looking for a very specific car. The hunt was on, and within 5 weeks she found what I wanted, Color, trim, etc, exactly my whishes. After arrival of the vehicle it was certified by the shop and I was informed of the find. My wife ,I and the owner of the dealership, noticed that there was some very minor flaws in the paint condition, that where overlooked in the certification, which where addressed immediately, to my full satisfaction. After one week the car was ready to be picked up, but by then my transportation possibilities where restricted to the point that I was unable to get to the dealer. Katherine immediately offered to pick my up at my convenience at any day and time, which she did and I was able to pick up my car. In retrospect the above and beyond positive attitude, of Katherine in customer relations, and the owner of the dealership, reflected my entire experience and I will return and recommend this dealer to family (we all drive VW) and friends. We bought numerous vehicles from Dealers in the past 2 decades, and none of them matched this experience. Job well done. More
