I was told multiple times that a third party warranty company usually covers rentals and not to worry about the cost. After it was discovered to actually not be a part of the warranty they chose not to cover the cost of the rental. I told them from the beginning that I needed a rental and I was adamant in making sure I wasn’t paying for it. I was lied to because someone avoided doing their job. Because of this I owed a rental company $854. If I would’ve known this from the beginning like I should’ve I definitely would’ve found alternative means of transportation. Also, the communication between the dealer service manager was awful. I spent 10 days unable to get an answer about the rental. Was told on a Thursday the car would be done on the following Monday. I made something like 6 calls from 9 to 3 trying to get a hold of service to check the status of the car so I could schedule my life to be able to pick the car up. Left work early. Turns out the car wasn’t done. A part that wasn’t fitting correctly had to be overnighted. They ordered the part that morning and apparently couldn’t be bothered to contact me and alert me of such. I’d rather the vehicle be fixed correctly but again I was put out because of their failure of communication. I will absolutely never use this dealership again. I have referred friends and family that have bought new and used vehicles from this dealership. I will not be doing this again. They have been told and are not using this dealership for service going forward. Frankly I was on the fence about GM after having a transmission fail at such a low mileage and conveniently right outside the GM warranty. Thankfully I had the third party warranty. I will not be buying a new GM vehicle in the future new. I’ve owned 8 in a row but after this experience it’s time to move on. More

Service was scheduled to address intermittent check engine light and noise from transmission. Over 3 week wait for appointment. Approx 1 week before appointment date; after fueling, engine began to idl engine light and noise from transmission. Over 3 week wait for appointment. Approx 1 week before appointment date; after fueling, engine began to idle extremely rough, check engine light began flashing on the dash and all peripheral mechanical systems were disabled by the computer. Brought vehicle to service dept and asked for it to be checked out immediately as vehicle is needed daily. After a day and a half (and calls to the service dept.) we received a call stating a fuel injector had gone bad, there was a hole in the radiator and a front wheel bearing required replacement. My wife and I approved these repairs for $2600. After the repairs were completed, we were informed that the noise from underneath the car was still there and would mean transmission/transfer case/ rear end and possibly front end work (unknown price tag on those repairs). We were told those repairs are needed due to driving the car in "auto/all wheel drive" for too long at too high a rate of speed. Supposedly this was also what killed the front wheel bearing. Only a few miles (less than 10) after leaving the dealership, the check engine light came on again, this time indicating the anti-lock brake system now needs checked/serviced (no previous issue with brakes) We have only owned this yukon since August and have only used 2 wheel drive until last week. The repairs are needed due to a pre-existing issue in this vehicle. When we talked to the manager, we were informed we should have bought the warrantee. I feel we were bait and switched. Will not be shopping here again. More
