It was done quickly and he had a bid to me when I picked it up. I have to wait to have it fixed due to lack of funds right now during the COVID 19 situation. I hope to have it fixed soon and will be back dealing with Ernesto then. More

I brought my vehicle in for service on a few issues: Transmission check, steering wheel clicking, center console screen issues. The tech looked over the transmission and there was no issues that he could find, i was fine with this response. The steering wheel clicking was due to bearings being worn out in the steering column but the service rep quoted me $315 for the repair, which i agreed to. The center console screen has been shutting off and turning back on at random times and the service rep said that there was a software update that could be done for $45, which i agreed to. After all of these issues were explained they offered me a loaner vehicle due to the fact that it would be around 3 hours to complete the repairs. After more than 5 hours i received a call from the service rep that my vehicle was done. This is where my issues lie, upon my arrival the service rep told me that the software update was a "long one" and that it would take an hour and a half to complete and would be over $200. The $200 price was due to the hour and a half of shop labor to complete the software update. How on earth are you going to charge your clients labor time for having the vehicle plugged into a computer to download a software update. My second issue was the original $315 quoted for my steering wheel repair ended up being over $470. The service rep said that he had originally quoted me $315 and that was just the labor price not the labor and parts price total. I was not thrilled by that response and he did discount the repair back down to the original price quoted plus tax. The service rep was very friendly overall but with the issues mentioned above i will not be using Robert Brogden for service or purchase of new vehicles in the future. More

Down time for the 2 vehicles was minimal. One star demerit for the excessive labor charge of $158.00/hour. I realize you've got to make a buck to survive, but, c'mon man. More
