From scheduling to completion of service it is always an easy process with Rivertown Ford. I received a reminder via text message and set up the PM maintenance appointment right then and there. After the multi point inspection it was determined that I needed to have new brake shoes installed and rotors resurfaced. I use the vehicle primarily as a tow vehicle for a camper so I opted to have the service done so that I didn’t end up with worse problems down the line. The waiting room is very comfortable with hot coffee available. The price for the oil change and brake work was very competitive with any other garage in town. Jordan Smith was my Service Advisor today. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. More
I am disappointed. On yesterday morning, I went in for an oil change, wipers and a minor repair. I waited for 3 hours before being informed it was not known when my veh On yesterday morning, I went in for an oil change, wipers and a minor repair. I waited for 3 hours before being informed it was not known when my vehicle would be ready. I had a prior appointment and had to leave it overnight. I was advised a Lyft could not be provided being that I needed to be dropped off 15 miles away which is over the 11 mile limit. I then had to call my wife and ask her to leave work to pick me up. I returned the next morning to pick up my vehicle after being informed on yesterday afternoon that it was ready. Before leaving the property I discovered the repair was not done properly. I returned the vehicle to the service department and it was inspected. I was informed that it needed another repair that should have been noticed during repair and it cost me an additional $250 dollars plus 2 hours of work. It was obvious to the naked eye the part was not installed correctly so I am not sure how the service department missed it. It was a horrible experience and I don’t plan on making additional purchases or referrals to this location. More
Brent is a highly professional, competent, and excellent at communication with customers. Excellent attitude. It took the shop a lot of diagnosis work and 2 tries but looks like they got it.
