80% mark up on MSRP on Ford Parts - SCAM! This place should be on Fort Benning's BLACK LIST. I have three Fords and I would recommend everyone with a Ford to STAY AWAY from this place - it should not be considered a Ford dealership. Today (09 Feb 2019) I went in to have oil change, tires rotated, transmission fluid and filter change. During in process they told me I needed a front end alignment. I was shocked when they told me the transmission fluid is all they change that they do not change the transmission filter and it was going to be $269.99. I thought about and agreed to have the work done. The front end alignment was $69.99. About 30 minute later the service rep called me to tell me the oil pain drain plug needed to be replace and was going to cost $18.00 - for one bolt. I went to Ford Parts.com and found the MSRP for the bolt to be $10.08. I call them back and told them to stop all work and I would be there to get my vehicle. I went to the service rep, and he told me they made a mistake and the part was $10.80 - I said no, it is $10.08. He then carried me out to the Mech Tech who told both me and the service tech that the parts guy told him $18.00. I told him to get my car out now. Oil change only - tires did not get rotated, which they still charged me for. If they will try to price gouge you for a $10 part - what else are they over charging for. I highly recommend Opelika Ford for all of your service needs. I special ordered my 2013 Ford Edge from River Town Ford, three days after getting the vehicle, the tire pressure light went off and there was a nail in the tire. Three days after buying it and they charged me $30 to remove the nail and did not rebalance the tire, which caused it to vibrate at certain speed. I had to carry to tire shop while we were at the beach so that I could drive it back to Columbus. River Town did not offer a refund or to make it right. About 6 months ago - I carried in my 2006 Ford Expedition for an oil change and tire rotation. I went to pick it up, and there was grease, and dirt all over the inside of the vehicle and on the hood. The Service Manager came out, cleaned it himself and they credited my for the oil change. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt ...... but they insist on reinstalling that doubt. Again, I am writing to tell you to STAY AWAY. More

I have only gone to this location one other time and the service was less than par then as well. Train your staff better in customer service. When an NHSTA Safety Recall is placed you are required to perform them! I am not required to purchase my vehicle. By the way, treat me badly and be rude to me I will make sure to let everyone I know to visit another Ford Dealership! DO NOT USE Rivertown Ford unless you enjoy rude service and bad attitudes from the employees! STAY AWAY!! More

Williams and Service Manager Scott Cornwell haven’t heard a response from either COWARD—-Had 2015 F350 serviced last Saturday. Service Advisor Mark Bait was a class act. Represent the company very well. Truck shut down on me a few miles from the dealership. Due to Service technician no fully connecting top fuel line. It was a mess full of diesel fuel on engine and ground. Vehicle shutdown. New oil filter was filthy. I assume it’s was a new oil filter. Overspill oil wasn’t cleaned up. Tech put 65lbs of air pressure in rear tires. Instead of topping off at 80. Stay the xxxx away. Mistakes will happen. Unfortunately at this dealership no one steps up to correct them. More

The Rivertown Ford in Columbus Ga, service department is the worst service I've ever had in my life. They left 4 out of 6 lug nuts off of my right rear tire and nearly caused a life threating situation. I took it back immediately and spoke with Scott the service manager and he said they would fix it right up. Offered to replace the wheel for free and then ordered me 3 more without my approval and put them on without telling me the total price for three more wheels. When I confronted them about it and even tried to meet them half way they said they wouldn't budge and Scott the service manager said we will put your old wheels back on to include the one they damaged by leaving the lug nuts off and said I quote "you can have your wheels and I never want to see you and your truck back at this shop." "You are just trying to get free stuff from us." I have never played the system with Ford and have all of my receipt for every service. I highly recommend you stay away from this service department, absolutely absurd and disappointing that Ford allows this kind of customer service to Ford owners. Your Blue Oval treatment is not honored here at Rivertown Ford. More

No good I would not take my vehicle to this place ever again they kept my truck 3 months and still could not tell me what was wrong with it they just kept wan I would not take my vehicle to this place ever again they kept my truck 3 months and still could not tell me what was wrong with it they just kept wanting to replace this and that just guessing hoping that something would fix it then I called one day and they said that the technician did not know what was wrong with it that he had to call another ford place to ask another technician and he Did not know either so I went and got my truck still broke down and take it somewhere else and cost me $ 2,000 dollars for them not figuring out what was wrong. Another sub par experience from the service department. Had an appointment at 130 to have a brake control module connected to my trucks computer. I should've known better due to past experience. 4 hours later...when I am told my truck was ready they only had an hour and a half on labor time charged. I have yet to have a good experience with the service department here and will only take it to their service department if it is my last choice. More
